You can still have fun in rain! - We had Miguel as our guide who we really enjoyed. Our trip was challenged by some unfavorable weather and Miguel did a great job navigating it to ensure we still had a great experience. We also have to give great compliments to our driver, Elder.

Recommended to visit the Douro Valley - Miguel was a great guide, his enthusiasm was infectious. Due to the bad weather, the schedule had to be changed, but he did his utmost to implement the program as fully as possible. The choice to visit the Euphemia wine estate was also a direct hit.

Beautiful day trip. - The tour was amazing. Our tour guide Miguel was great. He was knowledgeable, funny and very helpful. The trip was awesome we loved the boat ride the most. The food in the boat was very nice. The tour was very accommodating I don’t eat Gluten and they had gluten free dishes including dessert for me. I highly recommend this tour.

Great tour, good food, good value, no port wine - Great tour at a good price. My only disappointment was that we didn't actually try any port wine. It was my last day in Porto and, as someone who doesn't drink a lot, I had skipped the port tastings in the city expecting to try some on this tour. The wines we did try were good, but none were port. The thing I liked best about this tour was the scenery and learning about the area, including wine production and the unique aspects of the area that make it a UNESCO site. Initially I was disappointed by the quantity of food on the boat ride (which was a nice part of the tour), but then we got to Amarante and ate quite a bit there, so I was happy. I recommend this tour if you're not expecting to drink port wine.
