So fun - Our guide Petito was so great! He told us so much about the Duoro Valley and was a remarkable driver. I highly recommend this excursion!

Joao as guide to the Douro River Valley - We had a wonderful tour, and Joao is an excellent guide and driver! He was able to inform us about the history of the Douro valley while getting us to some incredible views that were off the beaten path. We would recommend his for any adventure you are interested in experiencing!

A perfect day! - Wife and I could not have had a better day. Our guide, Ana, was superb! We loved her sense of humor, attention to detail, patience for stopping to take endless pictures, and pointing out historical reference points, especially about Ms. Ferreira (sp?). Greatly enjoyed the wine/port tasting in the Douro and the views at the picnic spot were a delight. Highly recommend if you are interested in going, that you request Ana, she only speaks five languages. SMH, so jealous:)

A unique way to experience Douro - This was a very unique experience taking a 4x4 jeep to see the Douro Valley. Our guide Pedro was not only knowledge, but also personable. He kept us laughing the whole time. The winery they selected for the tour was absolutely beautiful. This was my first time trying port wines, and I was shocked when I liked them all. Honorable mention for the great picnic that was provided by Girls of Douro (GoD). It was so yummy!

The highlight of our visit to Porto - My son and I did the Duoro Valley 4x4 trip with Ana and it was the highlight of our trip to Porto. Ana is an excellent tour guide and an excellent driver and she really made this experience special. She stopped along the way to let us get the best pictures. She took us to a beautiful spot to eat a delicious lunch she had prepared. Then she took us to an amazing winery where we tasted outstanding wine. I highly recommend doing this tour with Ana. Her knowledge and passion really showed.

Friends For A Day in Douro Valley - My husband and I took our girls ages 14 and 11 on private trip in a 4x4 Landcruiser out to the Douro Valley led by our tour guide Ana. This is experience was THE best time we had during our trip to Porto & Lisbon. Ana’s attention to detail was outstanding and planned a perfect boat tour on the river, we had the most wonderful picnic lunch and the winery she selected was top notch…it literally felt like we had the whole valley to ourselves! It was truly like having a friend for the day take you around and show you the best sites without the crowds and in a way that ensures everyone has a good time, no matter their age. If you are fortunate enough to be able to do an experience like this we highly recommend it and request Ana!

Amazing wine country tour - Petitio took us from the hotel to the Douro wine country in a 4x4 on narrow winding country roads and trails with the most incredible views of vineyards, olive trees, moorish cemeteries and churches. We had a great picnic and ended the trip at an incredible winery/vineyard with a wine tasting of some great whites, ports and reds. Was a wonderful ending to an incredible trip to Portugal! Would 10/10 recommend this one!

Trip with A Friend - My husband and I took this trip in June 2024 as part of our first visit to Porto. Ana, our guide, was beyond anything I could have ever wanted or expected. She was knowledgeable about everything in the area and made us feel like we were on a trip with an old friend. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour and Ana to anyone I know visiting Porto
