my group and I enjoyed the day very much. very knowledgeable guide, great selection of wineries, really tasty treats.
My friend and I learned a lot about wine while enjoying the tasting. Also, Ralph obviously has a good relationship with the winery owners which made the visits special. Ralph also was able to figure out pretty quickly that my friend and I would enjoy a winery that was quite different from most. (Ribbon Ridge) When I found out that it was going to be just my friend and I on the tour, I was a bit apprehensive. I thought it might be awkward. Not at all! Ralph is very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about the wine industry. I had wanted my friend from southern California to have a good time and see the beauty of Oregon. Mission accomplished! Thank you so much, Ralph.
This was such a fun tour! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, entertaining and sociable. I loved how we went to the smaller vineyards. The smaller ones felt more like you were going into someones home. They all really cared about their wineries and were very knowledgeable. We met some great people on the tour who were from all over the country.
Went to great wineries, tasted great wines and had a very knowledgeable tour guide! The snacks were a great touch for all of the tastings as well!
I've been on many tours and this one was a little boring to say the least. Becca the driver was nice, but did not seem to possess a ton of real knowledge about wine. We heard the same story about the founding three multiple times. The three wineries that we visited were OKAY, nothing exciting. My rating is due to the wineries chosen, we would've liked something a little higher end if solely going to boutique wineries, otherwise we might as well have visited the bigger name brands with beautiful settings and mediocre wine.
Our hostess for the day, Becca, was super! She was friendly and informative (and a good driver). I have never been on a Wine-Tasting tour before, but I have been on other kinds of tours. Usually, the driver/host is upbeat in an annoying way. A few too many jokes and trying to keep everyone laughing. Becca is a normal person who is very enjoyable to be around. She provided some good snacks, and I learned a lot about wine from her. The wineries that she chose for the day were all a little bit different, so our group had a nice overview of what the Willamette Valley has to offer. I can't wait to have my wine-loving brothers join me on a Grape Escape tour!
We had a nice tour and visited 3 wineries with Becca. We accommodated a change in schedule for another couple who had a massage appointment they wanted to get back for - and they were nice people - we just felt our schedule, gluten free nut free wheat free lunch white wine free etc was geared towards them. However The first two tastings were still relaxing and enjoyable.
Becca was an amazingly friendly and knowledgeable guide. The wineries we visited were excellent and we got to try a much larger array of wines than we were expecting and the provided snacks were perfect. You definitely can not beat this tour, especially for the price.
We had such a great time on the tour! Becca was really nice and informative and the wineries that she chose were all very fun and beautiful.
Had an amazing time on tour with Becca! We were on a Saturday joinable tour, and to our surprise it ended up being a private tour for my wife and I. Honestly, I would not have been surprised or upset if they had let us know in advance that there weren’t enough people to tour. But they didn’t do that. Instead she gladly took us on tour for a lovely afternoon learning all kinds of things from both our guide and the wineries we stopped at. This tour group clearly has a long and positive reputation with these wineries, and it shows both in the perfect service of the guide and the friendly greetings we received everywhere we stopped. I cannot say enough great things! We will definitely be back again when family comes to visit! Thanks again Becca!
We all had a great time, the snacks provided were perfect and our guide Becca was a gem! Thanks again!
Our driver/guide, Becca was great.
Becca was a great guide and an extremely safe driver. The food pairings prepared were excellent excellent (!) and I enjoyed them all!
Thank you very much for the fabulous store. Ralph did a great job of explaining the Willamette Valley and the Region's wine industry. The three wineries that or selected we're all very different, very Charming for different reasons, and great wine selections. Thanks again!
We loved the locations selected, stories, and snacks. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and be back next year!
Becca our tour guide was very great and knowledgeable. Had a blast! Will definitely do it again when we visit Portland.
Becca was extremely knowledgeable on the area and wine country. I've gone on many wine tours in various regions and learned more on this trip than any other.
Great experience. Becca was an excellent guide. Beautiful scenery. Great wineries with great wine! We'll definitely go again
Becca did a great job on our tour - both knowledgeable and very personable! It was a lot of fun and my wife and I had a blast!
The tour was great and Becca was a terrific tour guide. Extremely attentive to our needs and a great conversationalist. She really made the day for us.
Had a great time touring with our Escape Artists Becca! We went to three wineries during the tour and they were all unique in their own way. We got to try at least 5 different wines at each winery so we were able to sample a great cross-section of wines that they all produce. On top of this, the tour group I was with was great! We all talked as a group the entire tour period so it almost seemed like a full day out with friends instead of strangers.
Becca was a fantastic guide. Both knowledgeable but also allowing for the group to mesh and converse at each point during the trip. Also, the group that we traveled with was absolutely fantastic. We stopped at three smaller wineries and got to spend significant time enjoying the wines, the scenery (even though it was 100 degrees out) and the company. For the price, you don't have to worry about sampling fees, snacks along the way or driving yourself so you're free to enjoy your day. 5/5 would recommend.
we didn't like the first winery. too smal and no atmosphere
Thanks to Becca for a wonderful wine experience with plenty of background Information ob the area, the vineyards and wineries. And for leaving enough time to Taste all the wines !!! This was real value for Money :)
Becca was a fantastic and knowledgeable tour guide. Rans and Terri were great travel partners (I know they're not part of the company :) ). All three of the vineyards were both scenic and offered great wine. Pick up and drop off were very convenient in Downtown Portland. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to enjoy all that Oregon Wine Country has to offer!!
The wine tour was our favorite part of our 4-day trip to Portland. The tour itself was great and our tour guide, Becca, was fantastic! It was very enjoyable and I highly recommend!
The vineyards chosen were great! Our escape guide Becca was very knowledgable and accomidating. I was extremely impressed with all the food provided. There was something for every stop, and it was all great quality food! Great cheese and crackers, fruit, sandwiches, meat, and brownies. Overall it was a fantastic experience.
Ralph and Paul were great. Trip was paced very well. Learned a lot about wine. The food was good too.
Great winery picks!
