Excellent intro to Portland - Shannon was a knowledgeable, personable guide who not only showed us interesting sites but also filled us in on the history and culture of Portland. For example, while showing us a bar on Harvey Milk Street, she explained that Portland has always been accepting and supportive of the LGBTQ community. She helped us understand what makes the city beautiful and complicated.

Great tour on Portland art and architecture! - Kelly was a wonderful tour guide and is clearly very passionate about Portland. She showed us some great buildings and local art which we thought was very interesting. The only feedback we would give is that ,as Brits, we didn’t necessarily have some of the background on some of the things she referenced, particularly about things that had been in the news about Portland in the last few years. We would have appreciated a quick overview of the history of Portland and maybe some more recent details. That being said, I would recommend the tour, but maybe felt a bit more targeted at an American audience.
