Highly recommended - Perfect Columbia River Gorge Day - I really enjoyed this hiking and biking tour of the Columbia River Gorge. The pace was just right — not too fast, giving us plenty of time to take in the stunning scenery. During the drive, we learned a lot about Portland’s history and had several interesting sites pointed out, which made the whole experience even richer. The views were absolutely gorgeous — waterfalls, lush greenery, and sweeping vistas everywhere you looked. I’d say anyone with a moderate level of fitness will do well; the biking included some downhill and a bit of uphill, but nothing overwhelming. As a flatlander who could probably add more cardio into my routine, I found it challenging at times but still very doable. I’d happily recommend it to folks who are fairly active. All the hikes were on established paths, so it was easy to enjoy without any worries. I went solo, mainly wanting to see waterfalls, and not renting a vehicle worked out perfectly. The cost felt reasonable for the amount of info, the experience, and the comfort of the trip. The bikes were in great shape—shifted smoothly and made the ride enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful day out—great scenery, good exercise, and a nice way to see the Gorge. I’d definitely do it again!

Must do guided tour! - We had a blast on our half day hike and bike tour with Around Portland Tours. Our guide, Angela, was super informative and made our waterfall and biking experience fantastic. Bikes are matched to you to make the experience more safe and comfortable. Going during the week was great as well because it was less busy at all stops and way easier to take photos without fighting for good spots. I would do this tour and any others with this company again.

Great time! - Angela was an amazing guide! I loved learning about the different plants she spotted along the hikes, and the history of the area. The bike ride was challenging enough to be interesting but still a lot of fun! Riding your bike along the Columbia gourge should be on your bucket list if it isn't already. Angela did a great job making sure I felt comfortable on the bike and matched my pace so I didn't feel like I was slowing things down. If you have a chance to take this tour, do it, you won't regret it!

Fun day of cycling and hiking the falls - Sarah was hands down an excellent, knowledgeable tour guide. She tailored the ride to fit the group, so that no one was left out. As an avid cyclist, I would rate this as an easy ride of mostly downhill. The bikes were in good repair, unlike some bike tours we have done. The cycling down the hills was really a picturesque experience. Short hikes at the waterfalls broke up the cycling, and we were encouraged to explore on our own and get some epic shots. It was truly an experience to be had, to round out a trip to Portland OR. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend! - This was a great way to get an intro to what the Columbia River Gorge has to offer. Our only complaint was that we had to leave lol. The biking portions were mostly easy and the hiking was very easy. The waterfalls are beautiful and Angela had so much knowledge and made everything fun! We parked in a paid lot a couple blocks from the shop and it was $15. We definitely want to go back on our own time and hike to the top of some of the larger falls.
