Authentic Portland Food History and Tastes - Ray was a great tour guide, and definitely gave us an authentic experience! The exposure to the different chowders (seafood chowder was incredible!) and the lobster roll with seasonal beer were fantastic. I also love a great dessert, and we had a few. Thanks Ray for the great Portland history and food origin stories!

What an amazing food tour! - What a wonderful tour! We learned amazing trivia about Portland from Anne, and I had some of the best, freshest seafood while on the tour. Along with the food, the restaurants included nonalcoholic and some alcoholic drinks, too.

Portland foodie tour - Just finished the Portland food tour with Timothy. Every stop was top notch with 3 excellent food stops and accompanying drink. Topped off with a chocolate store and ice cream. Timothy gave us great history and insight into Portland, Maine’s coastline, and the lobster and fishing industry. Highly recommend.

Wonderful tour - We really enjoyed the food tour. Our guide, Timothy was great! I loved having a local give the tour. He was very knowledgeable about the area and we gained a better understanding of the history of Portland and its current culture as well. All of the food was delicious and the portions were hefty! You will not leave hungry!

Portlands history and culture in food. - We truly enjoyed this walking tour. The guide Timothy was wonderful. The pace was great between the local restaurants and some sites. He had a wealth of local knowledge and answered questions about Portland . We Never waited long for our next tasting. A nice selection of foods to try. Didn’t have anything I wouldn’t eat and everything was delicious.

Taste Your Way Around Portland and Its History - Fabulous culinary (and history) walking tour. Hit all the Maine highlights, most specifically the seafood chowder and also lobster rolls. Learned a lot about Portland and its history along the way. The food portions were much more substantial than just "tastes" and each was a treat in its own right. Highly recommended.

Horrible - Never do this, complete waste of money and a joke of our time. In the first two hours, we only tried 2 different food options, as our guide took her sweet time to tell her own stories and talk to her own friends outside of the tour. For the $600 dollars I spent to do this, it would have been better off to throw my money in the port. We ended up leaving halfway through without any notice because of how painfully slow and boring our experience was. Never waste your money on this joke of a tour.
