A beautiful tour of the lighthouses and islands around Portland - Took this tour on August 28 2026. Mark was our guide and he was very knowledgeable. We were out on the Fore River and saw lots of lighthouses, islands, even some seals. He provided the history for everything we saw with some "dad" jokes mixed in. Considering I booked it about 2 hours before the tour, I'd say it was a good tour. Going out on the water it did a get a bit breezy so I'd say you should bring a light jacket or hoodie with you but it's not so unbearable that you'll get a cold.

A good way to get an overview of Casco Bay - I thought that the tour was a little longer than it needed to be. It was very difficult to understand the guide if you were sitting on the main deck due to the engine noise. The guide (Amy) was excellent.

Great excursion - Maines coast line is just beautiful. Well worth the ride. Being in the water is so soothing and if you are lucky you can see some wildlife.

The cruise was beautiful... - The cruise was beautiful and the captain was great. It would have been a five star experience except for the guide. His personal biases and ongoing insults of folks from other places (which he thought were funny) are totally inappropriate. This is the first time I have been disappointed in a guide for a tour through Viator. I hope the tour company will realize they should not have such a person representing their beautiful city.
