Highly enjoyable and informative - As a disabled pensioner I was supported with great care boarding the boat. The commentary provided was clear, coherent and spiced with a tinge of humour. The staff at the booking office and on the boat were professional, highly competent, very polite and personable.

Great experience - Great value for money and a really fun experience riding the waves. The views were breathtaking, and both the guide Logan and captain Miguel were excellent and made the trip even more enjoyable. You might get a bit splashed, and don’t forget sunscreen—even on a cold day, as it’s easy to get sunburned. I would definitely recommend!

Highly recommend! - We had a wonderful boat ride to view all of the main caves. Being 7 months pregnant they sat me on the back bench in front of the captain for safety, which was greatly appreciated. All of the staff from check in to leaving were friendly and helpful. We had Logan and captain Miguel who were knowledgeable and great tour operators. I was presently surprised by the lack of large bumps and felt stable and secure in the boa the entire time. Overall I would highly recommend and if I’m ever back in the area would book again! Thank you for the wonderful journey.

Amazing time out at sea! - Amazing experience, great captain and tour guide who made the trip unforgettable! Very good value for money, getting a good amount of time on the sea! Great vibes on the boat, not crowded and everyone was participating with questions that enhanced our time there. I'd definitely recommend this experience to anyone wanting to see more of the Algarve coast.

Simply beautiful - Nice view, great driven, and plenty of opportunities offered to enjoy the view. Tour guides gave a lot of information but didn't talk too much.

Magnificent experience along the Algarve coast. - Wonderful experience with our tour guide Logan. He was very knowledgable and fun. The coast is gorgeous. We weren’t able to enter the caves due to unstable cliffs, as a result of recent rains, but it was still well worth viewing the coastline and rock formations from the water.

An amazing experience - We did this experience today 18th February 2026, we had joao and Alex as our skipper and tour guide, they were very informative and also made the experience very pleasant. They spoke good English, we weren't allowed close to the cliff edges or into the caves as Portugal had been hit by 6 different storms over the winter and there had been some rock falls. I highly recommend this experience we've had a brilliant couple of hours out at sea.

Beautiful Coastline, Uncomfortable Ride - We originally attempted to book this tour the previous day in Carvoeiro, but due to the weather it wasn’t running. We called early the next morning, confirmed the trip, and headed to the start location in Portimão. (There is a minibus that picks up and drops off in Carvoeiro.) There are no guest seating areas or facilities near the ticket office or jetty, so guests wait on the promenade or at the boat club café/bar opposite. The café has bathrooms for customers, and there are also coin‑operated public toilets for non guests. The boat staff were polite, helpful, and informative, and they spoke good English. The office was able to store suitcases and large luggage, while small bags went on the boat with passengers, stored down the middle or under your legs. A safety briefing was given before boarding and again once seated. All passengers were provided with life rings that go over all clothing layers, with additional larger ones available. We were supported down to the jetty and onto the RIB boat. Aside from four passengers on the back bench, everyone else sits on cushioned straddle‑style seats. For a two‑hour trip, these seats are not comfortable — there’s very little movement and no standing. At times my legs and bottom went numb. The comfort level is similar to a camel ride. The crew were knowledgeable and slowed down to tell us the names of beaches and cave features. We only went into three or four caves, and the best views were definitely from the front. There wasn’t much turning or reversing to give people at the back a good view. The coastal scenery and cliffs were beautiful, though. During the trip we were stopped by the Portuguese maritime police. This doesn’t seem to be a regular occurrence, and although it added extra time sitting awkwardly, it was reassuring to see that the crew were fully licensed and all safety equipment and paperwork were in order. The return journey was much quicker and therefore quite bumpy. At that point I was glad not to be at the front, although the photos would have been better from there. The weather was warm in the sun, but I found it cold when bouncing along. There is no shelter from wind or sun, aside from hiding slightly behind the person in front. The seats are very close together, so if the person in front has mid‑length or long hair, it may end up in your face. Larger passengers have even less room to move. Overall, it was an enjoyable trip and cost €35. There were cheaper boats available, but this felt reasonable value for money. However, the boat is clearly designed to maximise capacity rather than comfort, and I would have preferred more boat rotation so everyone could enjoy the cave views equally.
