Book it! - So great! Carlo was incredibly attentive and kind. Everything was intentionally planned, well organized, and thoughtfully done. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. Carlo connected with us in such a warm way while also giving us privacy to enjoy the experience. They even helped arrange our taxi, which made everything so easy!

We had a cooking class... - We had a cooking class with Carlos in April. Learned to make homemade pasta and Cannoli. Was a wonderful experience! We were the only couple at his casa so basically had a private cooking class. Would highly recommend! Jeff and Tiffanie

Best cooking class I have ever taken - Carlo and his team were amazing! We started with a tour of his garden where he grows many of the items he uses so he really is farm to table. We had some incredible appetizers, bruschetta, sun-dried tomatoes and roasted red peppers and mini sandwiches that were so tasty, I never would have thought to put a lemon slice on a sandwich but wow did it change the taste of the sandwich. We then made cannolis and pasta and ate them for dinner. We met another awesome group of people and just had the best night. Carlo is chef that has worked around the world and is extremely talented. This was the highlight of my trip so far. Highly recommend!

Cooking with Carlo and the South Carolina Crew - Carlo was so welcoming and friendly! He made us feel like family immediately upon arrival. His class was easy for beginners, and we loved the recipes! He accommodated one member in our group who was a vegetarian and ensured the recipe was ok for her to eat. His family garden is stunning and learning about his culture and food was the highlight of our trip to Palermo. He is a MUST for your vacation and we just wish we lived closer so we could come back sooner.

Carlo - The Man, The Myth, The Legend! - My girlfriend and I spent a couple nights in Palermo and she surprised me with a cooking class with Carlo on one of our days there. This had to be one of our favorite days on the whole trip. Carlo is absolutely amazing! From start to finish the experience is unmatched and would recommend Carlo and only Carlo if you find yourself in Palermo! This is a must do experience. Carlo is so a gem and so friendly. He welcomes you into his home and doesn't treat you as a guest but more like family. You go through his gorgeous garden and hand pick all the vegetables and fruits that you will later cook with. He shares his story and and his wealth of knowledge in the cooking and gardening world. We made fresh pasta and cannoli on our visit. He was so helpful and makes the whole experience fun and does all that he can so that everyone is involved having an amazing time. The food was as expected unbelievable. For such a simple meal it had to be one of our favorites just because of how fresh everything was. Carlo truly is a 1 of 1 person and if you have the pleasure to take his class and meet him you will understand! I can't rave enough about our experience and how much we thoroughly enjoyed just hanging out with Carlo. We enjoyed our fresh salad with Carlo's home made olive oil which words can't describe how good that was. Same goes for the pasta and cannoli. Which was accompanied with delightful wine. Towards the end of our time Carlo encouraged us all not to rush and to stay and enjoy our time there which is incredible because this is his home. The whole tiem it felt like we were just at a friends house for lunch. Following our experience he sent us the recipes for everything we made. Carlo told us if ever we had any questions or if we needed him when we get home when trying out our new skills for ourselves he would be more than happy to help. This will be a memory I will hold on to forever and hopefully we find ourselves back in Sicily again so we can visit our friend Carlo to take another class with him! Thank you for everything Carlo! We hope to see you again. In the meantime we will do all we can to try and recreate this experience in our own home!

A must do experience when if Palermo - I would give Carlo ten stars if I could. What a wonderful experience. He is nor only a great chef but an excellent teacher and host. We enjoyed sharing the experience with a lovely couple from Melbourne, too. A must do experience if you are in Palermo.

This experience will... - This experience will exceed your expectations. Carlo curated an incredible experience, combining his warm and personable character (and mother), welcoming you into his home, and mixed with beautiful scenic views, the freshest food, and incredible flavors that will leave you wishing you could experience it again. I cannot recommend this excursion and Carlo highly enough!

Bucket List Item Fulfilled. Heart Overflowing. Exceptional Experience! - This cooking experience with Carlos and my sisters was exceptional! Carlos was a great teacher about the nuances of Italian cooking… the sauces, herbs, pastas. We toured his gardens and prepared delicious foods from his personal deck overlooking the sea. An excellent craftsman and gracious host. I highly recommend Cooking With Carlos! This is one of my favorite experiences of my travels in Italia.

What a day! - Oh my goodness! What an incredible day Cooking with Carlo. First he and his wife arranged transportation to their gorgeous home. We were met by Carlo. He took us out to the deck with running views and a perfect set up for our class. After introductions we went into their lovely garden and he showed us all of the different things they grow and told us a bit about each product. Then we got into the food. Between what he pre-made and what we did together, it was amazing. He was kind and helpful and fun. I couldn't recommend this activity any higher!

Cooking with Carlo - I would share to all travelers thinking about this experience….. Book It! Absolutely amazing, Carlo is such an amazing ambassador to Sicily and it’s rich culture and perhaps more importantly his ability to teach, share and provide such a beautiful experience.
