Located just north of Kuala Lumpur, this limestone outcrop features three main caves with temples and Hindu shrines. The main highlight is the large statue of a Hindu deity at the entrance, along with a steep 272-step climb to enjoy the breathtaking view of the city skyline. Monkeys play around the caves, making it a favorite spot for rock climbing enthusiasts. The site also showcases paintings and scenes of Hindu gods.

Perdana Putra - This impressive building stands atop the main hill in Putrajaya, capturing attention with its palatial-style green dome and stone walls. Featuring a blend of Islamic and modern architecture, this office complex is where ministers and high-ranking officials work. Although not open to visitors, its grandeur can still be admired from the outside.
-
Putra Mosque - The rose-tinted granite gives the Putra Mosque its iconic pink hue, with elegance that is equally remarkable inside and out. Built by the lake in 1997, the mosque can accommodate up to 15,000 worshippers. Visitors often stop by for photographs with this sophisticated landmark, which draws inspiration from Malay and Middle Eastern influences.

-
Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin (Masjid Besi) - The Iron Mosque, also known as the Tunku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque, is another architectural marvel worth visiting. Constructed primarily from steel, its “wire mesh” architecture is inspired by Chinese and German designs. Unlike other mosques in Malaysia, it lacks a minaret for calling prayers. From a distance, it appears to be made of metal or glass.
-
Millennium Monument - Designed in 2005 to welcome the new millennium, this is the first monument built in Putrajaya. The walkway spiraling around the monument illustrates Malaysia’s history, with panels describing significant events in the country. Taman Wawasan - A hidden gem! That’s the feeling upon first visiting Taman Wawasan Putrajaya. “Wawasan Park” is the direct translation, with “Wawasan” meaning vision. The garden was named in alignment with Malaysia’s “Vision 2020,” a vision for Malaysia to become a developed country by 2020. Returning to the park, it is truly expansive, touching the boulevard on one end while the lakeside of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs flanks Lebuh Ehsan (Ehsan Avenue) on another. Still unsure of its size? Well, a slow jog around the garden might take about an hour to complete.
