These limestone formations, over 400 million years old, naturally evolved into what is now famously known as Batu Caves. The temple, nestled within the cave, was constructed in 1920.

With its beautifully crafted shrines and statues set against the stunning backdrop of limestone hills, Batu Caves is truly a sight to behold and a destination not to be missed.

One of the most notable and unique features of Batu Caves is the golden statue of the Hindu God, Lord Murugan, which stands proudly at the base of the stairs. This impressive sculpture, towering over 140 feet tall, is a proud symbol of the Hindu temple within the caves.

• The River of Life - The River of Life is one of Kuala Lumpur’s most iconic features. Located near Masjid Jamek Sultan Abdul Samad, the city’s oldest mosque, it is where two rivers converge: the Klang River and the Gombak River. The Klang River, known locally as Sungai Klang, flows through Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, eventually reaching the Straits of Malacca. The Gombak River is another major river in the Klang Valley.

• Petronas Twin Towers - Photo stop at the Petronas Towers (Menara Berkembar Petronas), also known as the Petronas Twin Towers or colloquially the KLCC Twin Towers. These interconnected 88-storey supertall skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, stand at 451.9 meters (1,483 feet). From 1998 to 2004, they were officially the tallest buildings in the world until surpassed by Taipei 101. The Petronas Towers remain the world’s tallest twin skyscrapers and were the tallest buildings in Malaysia until 2019, when The Exchange 106 surpassed them. The Petronas Towers are a major landmark of Kuala Lumpur, along with the nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower and Merdeka 118, and are visible from many locations across the city.
