• Luxor Museum - Begin your journey with a pick-up from your hotel in Port Ghalib at 5:00 am in a private, air-conditioned taxi, arriving in Luxor around 9:30 am. Cross the Nile to explore some of Luxor’s most stunning highlights on the West Bank with your personal tour guide.

The Valley of the Kings:

Formerly known as the Great Place of Truth, the Valley of the Kings is a magnificent resting place for the Pharaohs, who were once laid in grand stone sarcophagi, awaiting immortality. The secluded valley behind Deir el Bahri is dominated by a pyramid-shaped mountain peak.

The Colossi of Memnon:

These massive twin statues, known as the Colossi of Memnon, rise about 18 meters from the plain. They are the remnants of what was once the largest complex on the West Bank, constructed by Amenhotep III.

The Queen Hatshepsut Temple:

Emerging from the desert plain in a series of terraces, the Temple of Hatshepsut blends seamlessly with the sheer limestone cliffs of the eastern face of the Theban Mountain, as if nature itself crafted this extraordinary monument.

Karnak Temple:

Karnak is more than just a temple; it is a spectacular complex of sanctuaries, kiosks, pylons, and obelisks, all dedicated to the Theban gods and the greater glory of Egypt’s Pharaohs. Karnak was the most important site for worshiping the Theban Triad (Amun, Mut, and Khonso).

Conclude your day with an optional tour on a traditional sailboat (Felucca) in the late afternoon - a perfect way to unwind while observing traditional rural life along the riverbank.
