Excellent day trip to Luxor - Excellent day trip to Luxor, long drive about4/5 hours but comfortable and friendly drivers! Our private guide Asgahmed, in Luxor arranged via Marsa Alam tours could not have been more knowledgable and friendly. He made the whole day very special for us🙏 Next time maybe we spend longer in Luxor as its an exceptional city to visit.

Don’t think twice about booking with Marsa Alam Tours! - What an amazing day! My wife and I had a fantastic trip to Luxor with Marsa Alam tours. It was a long and tiring day, leaving Port Ghalib at 4 am and returning at 8:30 pm, but that was a small price to pay for what we saw and experienced whilst in Luxor. Karnak and Luxor temples were definitely a highlight and we would also recommend adding King Tut’s tomb to your valley of the Kings visit. His tomb is small but beautifully decorated. We also loved dancing and singing to Nour El Ein (The “habibi” song) whilst driving to lunch. The lunch spot was also fantastic, I thoroughly enjoyed my beef tagine! An Egyptologist will join you in Luxor. They will give you a great overview of the history of each site and answer any additional questions you might have. We also liked how we were able to choose which sites and stops to visit. We expressed that we weren’t interested in shopping or the alabaster factory and that decision was instantly respected by the drivers and guide. Many thanks to Marsa Alam tours, keeping doing what you are doing! Special thanks to Waheed for driving us all day and for being such a welcoming and friendly person. Shukran, Habibi!

A day well spent in Luxor!! - We did a private day trip to Luxor from Marsa Alam. Our driver Aala picked up at 04.00 AM and we reached Luxor at 08.30 before the rush at Karnak Temple. Our private guide Khalil guided us through the day. It was an excellent experience to see the beautiful ancient architecture and learn about the Egyptian history from vastly knowledged Khalil. He knew everything, explained clearly and answered our questions patiently. After the trip to Karnak Temple, Temple of Hatshepsut, The Kings Valley, Nile river sail and also an intermittent lunch we returned safely back to our hotel by 19.30. 100% recommended and a million times better than a group bus trip and also cheaper than a group bus trip.

Transfer from Luxor to Port Ghalib - We booked a transfer from Luxor to Port Ghalib. It was a save and convenient drive. The driver was very friendly and didn't smoke in the car. He was in time at the meeting point. So everything was perfect.

1 day tour Marsa Alam to Luxor - This was a private tour for myself and two children 16&12 yrs The pick up was an early start from our hotel in Marsa Alam. We had 2 drivers taking turns as it is a long day. They were both excellent and friendly. (Mohamed & Hamza) We met out Tour guide in Luxor. (Kahlil ) He was also really friendly and informative. I can’t believe how much we were able to see in one day but the organisation was seamless. We started on the East bank of the Nile. Then had a short boat ride across the Nile with lovely views (optional extra) . Kahlil organised a restaurant for lunch with stunning views. The food was delicious and authentic local cuisine. We then explored the west side of the Nile. The tour included all the famous sites, temples, valley of the Kings and tombs. We were then driven back to our hotel in Marsa Alam in time for dinner. Definitely recommend this amazing trip giving an insight into the fascinating Egyptian history. I also recommend Egypt Tour Packages & Marsa Alam Tours - Cairo 1 day trip with flights . Again a very long but worthwhile trip

Day worth it - Everything was very well organized, the drivers were perfect, The day is dense but it's worth it, it would have been a shame to do only bathing in a stay in Egypt, thank you again

A great day that could have been a disaster. - After initially a misunderstanding and incorrect cancellation, Tours Marsa Alam made a huge effort to make our tour happen. They stayed in very close contact with us, arranged alternative transportation to Luxor, we met with our guide, Ahmed, who spoke excellent English, was very knowledgeable and very kind. He provided plenty of water, soft drinks and fruit. We had an excellent day visiting the Temple of Karnak, the Colossi of Memnon and the Valley of the Kings. The food provided (we ended up having a packed lunch due to time constraints) was excellent Egyptian food, very very tasty. Thank you very much for a great day.

Educational day with beautiful sights - All in all, a fine day. Were neatly picked up at the hotel at 3:50 by Ahmet and Ghalil, which are really 2 toppers! Trip of 5 and a half hours, where the first 3 hours were through the desert and there was a good road. Last hour and a half, however, on a road with many thresholds and vans that overtake each other, if you suffer from car sickness, this is a heavy part. Once in Luxor we started with the Karnak temple, also meeting our private guide, who showed us around and another couple. The temple and sphinxes are beautiful. Disadvantage here was that the guide is trying to make extras, where you had already indicated online that you did not want this. In addition, a crossing of the Nile was included in the trip with a motorboat, but he also tried to sell it for 20 euros per person. Otherwise, you'd have to drive 45 minutes. After Karnak we went to a studio, where they want to sell your art (was not in the description of the tour). Not interesting, but a waste of time. Then we went to the restaurant with boat, without paying. Even if this was the same boat trip he wanted to moor us on first. Lunch was a small buffet. After this we went to the valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut. Here the guide is only allowed to talk at the beginning and not inside. Then we went to an art gallery, where they also hoped you would buy something. This was also a waste of time and was not indicated in the description of the trip. Finally we went to the Colossi of Memnon and said goodbye to the guide. After a long journey back, during which there was fortunately less traffic on the road, we arrived back at our hotel at 22:10. I would definitely not recommend a Felucca trip as you will be back even later. However, communication from Marsa Alam Tours can be greatly improved. For example, you must contact them yourself regarding the trip 1 to 2 days in advance. In addition, they indicate that they would send contact information of the drivers and the guide a day in advance, but never received it.
