One of a kind experience - What an incredible experience! Alaster was very knowledgeable and personable. The waterfall was more than I could’ve expected! Lunch was delicious with a complete explanation of all the fruits that were served. We’ve been to many rainforest hikes, and by far loved this one the most.

Refreshing and interesting - Alistair is the Wikipedia of the Daintree. His intimate knowledge of flora and fauna is amazing. The hike to the waterfall was very safe. The swim at the waterfall was refreshing. Lunch was great with variety of the local and exotic fruits. Seeing the crocodiles in the wild was amazing. Well worth the day.

Get away from the crowds and experience something unique and totally fun!! - Fantastic small group tour with a local guide who actually lives in the rainforest and had so much to share about plants, animals, history and local culture. So special to hike without crowds and swim in a private clear pool under the falls, unforgettable! Lunch was fantastic and the crocodile tour enabled us to see two baby crocs and a couple bigger ones. If you’re looking for a tour that provides a breadth of experience away from the crowds of Kuranda and experience something unique - this is the tour! Communication, planning, music list even were top notch. Highly recommend!!

Highly recommended small group Daintree trip - Fantastic day out in the Daintree with our super friendly and very knowledgeable local guide Allister who kept us entertained with lots of interesting stories on the drive to our first stop … a trek in the rainforest and swim at a waterfall only accessible to his small tour group of 10. Followed by a lovely lunch which included a taste of many local fruits including a very informative talk on these fruits by the owner. Lovely small non-touristy restaurant that is only accessible to tour groups. Next stop a crocodile cruise on the Daintree river which did not disappoint with several sightings of crocodiles and local birds and an incredibly funny skipper. All in all a top day out. Thanks to Allister.

Fantastic Experience! - It is doubtful you will ever experience anything like this in Daintree. The tour starts with about a mile hike to a remote waterfall where everyone can swim and enjoy the world’s oldest rainforest. Then, there’s lunch at a beautiful restaurant with a fruit tasting. Finally, you get to do a crocodile tour. So grateful to Allister and the crew! Such an awesome experience

Great day exploring! - Well maintained trail leading to a really nice swimming area with waterfall. There was a few uncertain steps and needed to have good balance (if elderly/ not active- I’m not sure I’d do this experience). Our guide, Allister was so knowledgeable and kind. Lunch was one of our favorite meals and the hour crocodile river cruise was relaxing and saw a few crocs!

Incredible and Beautiful Daintree Experience - This was my first hike through the Daintree rainforest and I don’t believe any other hike could possibly top this! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish, and I couldn’t thank Allister enough for his passion, enthusiasm and knowledge of the beauty all around us. The highlights that made it all incredible included it being a small, intimate guided tour. It gave me time to appreciate and absorb my surroundings and ask questions. And the lunch organised by Richard was absolutely delicious and a great opportunity to learn more about our local produce and the history of how everything has evolved to influence what we grow and consume today. The waterfall was stunning and secluded. As a non-confident swimmer, I was still called to try my hand and splash around a little - much too breathtaking to miss out on! The crocodile cruise was also hilariously entertaining with Ray and I don’t believe I was more excited to spot crocs without his amusing commentary, sharp eyes and driving skills! There are only 2 things to prepare yourself for and that is completely ruled by Mother Nature - make sure you apply and reapply mosquito repellant and wear colours less likely to attract them! Wear good hiking shoes that will grip nicely for the undulating trail. I highly recommend booking in to see the beauty of the rainforest with fresh eyes - I can say with certainty that I have made beautiful memories and it would not have been possible without all the people involved in being part of Daintree Experience!

Don’t go chasing waterfalls, but this one will make you want too… - This tour. If you are on the fence about it, now is the time to get off it and book this tour. Allister was so knowledgeable, friendly and down to earth. The pick up was on time, van was comfy and the air con was very much oh appreciated. The croc cruise was so amazing! We got to see some big crocs and some baby crocs and the knowledge of the staff was better than any google search. Early lunch was very welcome by that point and the food in the cute little “tour companies only” restaurant was on of the best meals. You get a little bit of all food types and the fresh topical fruit was perfect for the warm day we had. The hike to the waterfall and the swim that you get was seriously the best way to end the day and tour. I could not fault this tour even if I wanted too!

Lovely day with a lovely guide - Amazing tour of the Daintree with Alister! Day went off to a good start with timely pickup and very nice ride to the river which passed quickly as our guide was sharing interesting stories about the region, the nature and the people in this beautiful part of Queensland. The river cruise was an exciting experience as we were able to spot a couple of big and small crocs in the wild. Then we stopped for some early lunch with tasty mains and sweet fruits for desert, all while the host was telling us interesting stories about the origin of each tropical fruit which I found fascinating. The last leg of the tour was definitely the highlight. Alister took us through a path in the beautiful and ancient rainforest where we were able to spot some interesting spiders and beautiful plants. The waterfall plus swim that awaited at the end of the trail was very much worth the walking and mosquito bites. Alister is a fantastic guide with a lot of local knowledge and a lovely character! 10/10 would recommend. The only advice is to bring plenty of mosquito repellent and thick clothing for the trail part as the mosquitoes are vicious.
