Relaxing and exciting - A very relaxing tour through the river with a nice view and a nice captain. We were lucky to see some dolphins and the captain was all the time pointing them to us. Also the explanation about the old ships and the port was amazing. A rich history for a place that definitely worth a visit.

Loved the dolphins! - The Port River Dolphin Cruise was 90 minutes well spent. Our Captain and host, Alex, has a wealth of knowledge about everything Port River, from the shipping industry and individual history of ships in the grave yard to the breeds and habits of birds in the sanctuary and even the names of the 23 dolphins you may happen to spy. Highly informative and entertaining activity.

Highly recommended trip for all ages. - We had a fabulous trip. Alex, our skipper and tour guide, was exceptionally knowledgeable and full of great information. We were lucky enough to see several dolphins and some great birds along the way. We ranged in age from 62 to 9 years, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the trip. I would highly recommend this company and this tour.

Excellent value for money, great tour - This is one of the best river tours anywhere. Excellent value for money. It was expertly crewed by very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very interesting commentary. We were fortunate to see several dolphins, some of whom played around our boat. It was reassuring to to know the port is a sanctuary for dolphins and they are breeding here and free to return to the ocean anytime. A bird sanctuary borders the port - some travel from Siberia and the Ships Graveyard stories really bring the maritime history of this part of Australia to life.

The guide on the tour was... - The guide on the tour was great and made some modifications because due to speedboat race on the river, we were not able to do the shipwreck portion. He did some extra cruising and spent more time with dolphins.

Dolphin cruise - Got to see some dolphins and was interesting to learn about the boats in the graveyard. Majority of them originally came from UK and some from America

Not recommended - It is a very slow river journey. In total, the entire river is home to just under a dozen dolphins, which you often don't even see. We were lucky to see 3 breathing from a long distance. The water was completely brown and you would hardly have seen them even if they had been right next to the boat. The rest of the trip was rather dreary with environmental sins of bygone times, cement plants and two gas power plants. The ship was fine and the guide was super entertaining and effortless.
