Parque Terra Nostra - (Thermal bath unavailable due to closure until January 2025) Optionally, enjoy a relaxing bath in the renowned thermal pool of the Terra Nostra botanical garden. Entry is not included and can be purchased on-site (16€ per person). This is one of Europe’s most beautiful gardens, with its orange-colored waters being a global attraction.
Vila Franca do Campo - The final stop is Vila Franca do Campo, the first capital of São Miguel before its destruction in 1522, offering views of the famous Ilhéu da Vila. Here, you can also taste one of the island’s most traditional conventual sweets, the village queijada.
