Caldeira das Sete Cidades - Within the Sete Cidades volcano, take a break in the heart of the parish. During this pause, consider adding a delicious buffet of regional dishes to your tour (not included, consult your guide), explore this charming area, walk along the lagoon’s edge, or even go canoeing. The São Nicolau church, often adorned with natural flowers, invites visitors.

Praia de Santa Barbara - Known as the “Hawaii of the Azores” due to its similarities, Santa Barbara Beach is a renowned spot for surfers from around the globe.

Miradouro de Santa Iria - One of the most picturesque viewpoints on São Miguel’s north coast, offering unparalleled beauty.

Plantacoes de Cha Gorreana - Enjoy a tea tasting at one of Europe’s only two industrial tea factories. Marvel at the plantation’s beauty, traversing valleys and mountains where goats maintain the bushes. This plantation is unique, being the last in the world to use no pesticides or fertilizers, ensuring it is 100% natural.

Parque Natural da Ribeira dos Caldeiroes - Located in the Northeast, where nature thrives! This is the most visited site in the Northeast, a former area of water mills transformed into a stunning Natural Park with impressive waterfalls. Adventurous groups often practice canyoning here, as it is a popular spot for the activity.

Pico do Ferro Viewpoint - Discover the breathtaking panoramic view of the interior of the Furnas volcano.

Furnas - Explore the area known locally as the “Mouth of the Volcano,” where numerous mineral water sources can be found, and sample some of them. Wander among the boiling water boilers and savor traditional liqueurs at a local craft store.

Parque Terra Nostra - (Thermal bath unavailable due to closure until January 2025) Optionally, enjoy a relaxing bath in the renowned thermal pool of the Terra Nostra botanical garden. Entry is not included and can be purchased on-site (16€ per person). This is one of Europe’s most beautiful gardens, with its orange-colored waters being a global attraction.

Vila Franca do Campo - The final stop is Vila Franca do Campo, the first capital of São Miguel before its destruction in 1522, offering views of the famous Ilhéu da Vila. Here, you can also taste one of the island’s most traditional conventual sweets, the village queijada.
