Embark on an 8-hour journey through Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo. Begin at your accommodation and set out to explore one of Portugal’s seven wonders. The adventure starts with a trip to the island’s northern part, passing through several viewpoints at Pico do Carvão, Lagoa do Canário, Grota do Inferno, and Vista do Rei, where you’ll witness one of the most stunning views of the two lakes of Sete Cidades, and visit its parish center.

After lunch, head to the Fábrica de Cerâmica Vieira (Vieira Ceramics Factory) in the city of Lagoa, then proceed to the viewpoint at Pico da Barrosa (at the top of Lagoa do Fogo). Enjoy stops at various viewpoints on the descent until reaching Caldeira Velha (old hot spring) for a relaxing thermal bath. Next, visit the Mulher do Capote factory to taste local liqueurs. The adventure continues at Santa Bárbara’s beach in Ribeira Grande, concluding with a visit to the pineapple plantation in Fajã de Baixo, Ponta Delgada.
