The Furnas Valley is a breathtaking destination, abundant in verdant nature and distinctive geological features. The tour commences in the parish of Furnas and leads to Furnas Lake, where participants can explore the lakeside trails. Along the journey, there is an opportunity to visit the renowned hot springs and observe the “holes” in the ground where locals and some restaurants prepare the traditional “Cozido” and other regional dishes. Cycling around the lake provides a chance to appreciate the exotic vegetation and scenic views. The tour also includes a visit to the Chapel of Nossa Senhora das Vitórias, where the guide will share its intriguing history.
