Wonderful day on Sao Miguel - Pur time with Luis was wonderful. He took us to beautiful areas on the island. Some of the areas needed a 4x4, so it was great to have those available. He asked us what we wanted to see and customized the day to us. He has a great knowledge of the island, not only places to visit but also the history. He was fun and pleasant. We would highly recommend Luis.

Great way to experience this beautiful island. - Prior to the excursion i made email enquiry for further details of the tour which was promptly responded to, and the booking process was simple. Our guide was Luis, who was waiting for us as we got of the ship and was easy to find. He was a good and safe driver, gave us helpful advice on how to spend the day and where to go. He was very knowledgeable about the island and made our day interesting and fun. This was an un-rushed tour and done at our own pace. Being in a 4wd vehicle made places accesible that you wouldn't be able to access in a coach or car. An excellent day out which was good value- especially when compared to the price of tours the ship was offering, plus could go where you wanted and stop anywhere. Highly recommend, especially Luis

A day in paradise! - An excellent introduction to many of the beautiful interior features of Sao Miguel: high peaks, waterfalls, lakes, and flora. Gonzales (English spelling), our guide, is very knowledgeable, responsive to questions, a superb driver on old roads, considerate of my mobility with hiking sticks, and fun and easy to be with for a full day. We would love to take another trip with him.

Excellent tour of the Island - Our guide and driver met us at the port and asked us if there was anything we particularly wanted to see to make sure we got what we wanted. Temor, our guide was very easy to understand and had so much information about what we were seeing. Some of the roads weren't the best but the sights were so worth it. Made it to vantage points most tours won't.
Temor also explained the history and culture of Sao Miguel.
It was a custom tour with a fabulous guide. EXCELLEN!!

Best Of The Best - We booked 2 days with T4W and was fortunate to have Miguel as our driver / guide. He went out of his way to accommodate on our request which included stopping at a small town of my great-grandfather’s birth. We saw and experienced so many sights that would not have been possible with a standard your bus/van. Great company and better employees. I highly recommend.

Amazing tour to... - Amazing tour to experience the Island.
Louis was a great guy. My wife is double leg amputee but nothing was a problem.
We had an amazing time.

Book it. You won’t be sorry!! - Hands down the best thing we did in Sao Miguel and one of our top tours we’ve ever taken globally. We were lucky enough to have Miguel as our guide and he’s fantastic. He knows so much about the islands, flora and fauna, best places to go - on and on. Let him judge where to go based on the weather and the cameras. Take a rain jacket for sure. We got poured on after lunch. Take an extra battery for your phone, a hoody and wear pants (we are here in October). Hiking boots weren’t needed for us but if it starts raining your shoes may get wet. I wish we had booked him twice. It’s less fun figuring out where to go on our own!!!
