• 1169A Ponatahi Road - Enjoy an evening dedicated to space and astronomy. When the stars are visible, stargazing is on the agenda. If not, an e-astronomy experience will be provided.

• Stargazing: Upon arrival, guests are greeted and can pick up a blanket or jacket at our reception. The telescope viewing area is located 25 meters away, nestled within our Moon Garden. For the next 60–90 minutes, guests will explore the magnificent deep-sky objects of the Southern Sky using our advanced telescopes.

This private stargazing experience is exclusive, ensuring it is shared only with your group.

Should the weather not permit stargazing, an e-astronomy experience will be offered. Guests will embark on a journey through the universe with our cutting-edge planetarium software and large screen. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to view our unique collection of astrobiology rocks from around New Zealand, which are used to discuss astrobiology, our contributions to it, and the search for life on Mars. The e-astronomy experience also includes exploring the Solar System through virtual reality.

A complimentary hot beverage is provided. The entire experience lasts 90 minutes, though it may extend if time permits.
