Eliana is great - I'm from Naples and I don't remember having ever been to Pompeii seriously except for a school trip. Luckily, Eliana happened to be on the Internet and from the first minutes we found ourselves projected into a world of stories that none of us thought possible. It was totally original and not at all stressful, the people of Pompeii were ahead of what I thought. She guided us in the squares and told us anecdotes of politics, then we ended up in the domus with beautiful frescoes and explained the techniques of paintings. It was beautiful, I highly recommend!

Amazing tour! :) - Eliana was amazing, we had the best time! We did a private tour and thought it was incredible. She took us around all the key parts of Pompei and then gave us directions for after the tour was over. We will book again when we are next in Pompei. Thank you!

Absolutely Wonderful Tour! - Excellent tour. Eliana is an expert in Pompeii and what able to cover a lot of this special site during the time we booked with her. While she is an expert, she is also very approachable and accommodating to adults and children alike. She answered all of our questions and I felt grateful we were on this small group tours instead of in a mass of 30 people like a lot of other tours. I would definitely book with her again!

Some Hiccups But A Lot Of Fun - Our group had a great time on our tour with Dario! We had some hiccups and ended up with a private tour.
Our original guide reached out about an hour before with an issue with her train and asked to reschedule to noon. We were coming from Naples and were already almost to Pompeii so I told the guide that wouldn’t work. She offered to have her assistant Dario guide and he was AMAZING! She also offered a private tour so I’m not sure if that was why our tour was 2 hours instead of 4? But we had a great time!

Customer Service Top Notch - Originally booked this as a group tour, but the day before, the host Eliana, messaged to let me know there wasn't enough people for the group. She gave us the option to either cancel or still continue. Begrudgingly, I decided to continue considering I didn't want to cancel what was a surprise experience for my wife on our anniversary. I'm giving them 5 stars, because despite my complaints both the tour guide and Eliana came through on a customer service level. The tour itself was great and our guide was awesome giving us non-recycled talking points which most guides regurgitate lines. Eliana came to meet us in person and we worked everything out in the end including helping us organize a free ride to the Pompeii vineyards nearby (after the vineyard said they were fully booked with rides). Had it not been for her, we would've ended up paying $60 for a cab ride to the vineyard (yikes!). If there was any doubt about which tour company to go with, pick them because they will definitely come through on a customer service and knowledge level.

Tour with Tiziana - We booked a private tour as we were limited on time. We had no trouble finding our guide Tiziana. She has a great personality and is very knowledgeable. She did a great job of showing us many of the best things to see In Pompei. Would highly recommend.

Eliana is the best! - Eliana was just fantastic. So communicative and informational. She actually works as an archeologist at Pompeii since she was 18, so cool!

Mandatory stop - It should be reiterated that Pompei, but also Oplontis and certainly Paestum, is a must visit location for anyone staying in this area.
Pompei itself is (always) very busy, very busy even at the end of September. But there is a lot to see. Pompei is very large and not everything has been uncovered yet.
With a Latin-Greek secondary education as a background, the theory is at least partly tested against reality. We have all learned about democratic Rome, what luxury and lifestyles were common, but seeing it is something else.
The petrified bodies (replicas now) evoke many emotions. You can easily spend a whole day here.

Pompeii was beautiful - Group Tour was not available even though we paid ahead of time - We scheduled and paid for this "group" tour at least a month ahead of time. Four days before the tour Eliana sent me a text suggesting that we take a private tour which jumped the cost from 160 Euros to 220 Euros. I told her we wished to stay in the group tour to which her response was: "At the moment I don't have a group tour in that time." Then why was a small group tour "in that time" , for 160 Euros, available to schedule online? Since you have to cancel 24 hours ahead of time, I sent her a text the day before to ask if she had enough for a group tour to which she didn't respond in time, so we cancelled. We got there, took the self guided tour only to see several group tours going on "in that time". Maybe the tours were not Eliana's company, but she certainly did not offer up any suggestions since she, herself, did not have a "group" tour at the time. The self guided tour was frustrating but still interesting and moving. It's confusing to get around the many different "sections" so I highly suggest a guided tour, but I would not book it through this website as I saw other people had this problem as well. I highly recommend making the stop to see Pompeii, it was incredible!!

Last-minute no show. - We were very disappointed as she cancelled at the last minute and we had to find an alternative tour. The experience did cause me to discover "Get Your Guide" Tours.
