- Forum - The Forum of Pompeii was the main square of the city and served as the political, economic, and religious center.
- Macellum - Visit the Macellum of Pompeii located in the Forum, which was the market for meat or fish and one of the focal points of the ancient city. Frescoes depicting the foods eaten by the Romans in the 1st century AD can be seen.
- Terme del Foro - The Forum Baths are located behind the Temple of Jupiter. The thermal sector, covering about 410 square meters, has both a male and a female section, each with its own entrance. The baths were supplied by the Serino aqueduct, although they had a well in case of water shortage. The ceilings in all rooms are original and retain the stuccoes of the era. The calidarium tub is made of marble, and the floor is mosaic.
- Casa del Fauno - Visit the House of the Faun, one of the most luxurious and largest aristocratic residences of the Roman Republic. Inside is the Alexander Mosaic (a replica, as the original is preserved at the Mann).
- House of the Vettii - The House of the Vettii is a Roman-era domus, buried during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 and uncovered through archaeological excavations of ancient Pompeii (VI-15-1). It is one of the finest examples of Roman art from the 1st century and is named after its owners, Aulus Vettius Restitutus and Aulus Vettius Conviva. Within the area, a room with erotic paintings was found, used by a prostitute living with the owner.
- Via dell’Abbondanza - Continue walking along Via dell’Abbondanza. This street connects the major centers of the city between the Forum and Porta Sarno, such as the Forum, the Stabian Baths, the Theaters, the Temple of Isis, and the Amphitheater.
- Thermopolium Regio VI, Insula VIII, 8 - Literally “a place where something hot is sold.” It can be considered the fast food of the era, where takeaway food could be purchased.
