2-Week Tour through Italy with a party of 4 - We hired Joe Banana Limos for our long anticipated tour through Italy and strongly recommend using their services if you're wanting a curated experience of all things Italy.
From the beginning, we had a direct contact, Anna, who worked with us to identify the best types of experiences that match our personal tastes and answered all of our questions. During the trip she was available to help us make last minute arrangements and keep us up to date on our itinerary.
Joe Banana handles all transfers and tickets from the airport, to the train stations, and transportation to the hotels. Our flight into Rome on the first day was delayed by 3 hours and they easily handled updating our train tickets to Venice for us.
Our trip in total was 3 days in Venice, 3 days in Florence, 4 days in Sorrento and Amalfi Coast, and 3 days in Rome. There were tours and activities scheduled for almost every day with a dedicated English speaking tour guide.
After the first stop in Venice, we had a dedicated driver, Catello Buonocore, who was with us for the remainder of the trip. Catello was absolutely amazing, very positive and friendly personality, helped with making recommendations for places to check out or restaurants to make reservations at for dinner. Catello felt more a part of our group rather than a driver taking us from one stop to the next, and I feel that made the trip all the better for it.
Most of the high tourist areas we went to were fairly busy, but from what we were told it was a little busier than typical for that time of the year (October), but it didn't seem to negatively impact our experience at all.
Anyone thinking of taking a tour of Italy, I cannot recommend Joe Banana Limos strongly enough. The tour guides and establishments they've built relationships with, and all of the staff we interacted with were absolutely phenomenal and worth every Dollar/Euro!

Amazing family experience with teenagers - I have ton many tours in Europe and this by far was on of the BEST not only did we have a driver but we had a driver that explained things to us. Everything was great from the guide at Pompeii ot the amazing pizza making exeperience and restaurant we were at.

Lovely day and JB made it so simple! - We had a great day with Giulio! We did pickup at our Airbnb and then the Pompeii. Tickets and guide were perfectly coordinated. After we went to a local olive oil mill to do a tasting. Anna from the main office was so helpful and communicative and Giulio was great to spend the day with. This was our fourth booking with Joe Bananas for various tours and rides and we highly recommend!

Fantastic time with Joe Banana - We had an absolutely fantastic time with Joe Banana. Including Pompeii, Pizza Class, Olive Oil, we did a total of 7 cruise excursion tours with Joe Banana across multiple families, but this one was the highlight for the kids and adults. Sorrento was beautiful, Olive oil fantastic, and the pizza making was so much fun along with the pizza being the best we had on the trip. Our guide in Pompeii was wonderful and knew how to keep both the kids and adults engaged. Our driver met us right at the cruise ship in Naples and he made the day so much fun and relaxed. He was knowledgeable and fun and knew all the places to stop for the best views, cafes and clean restroom stops. On the front end, Nunzia was fantastic to work with. She was prompt, always willing to to answer questions, make adjustments (including some last min) and extremely knowledgeable. You can not go wrong with Joe Banana Limos!

Shopping, olive oil, pizza, and history! We could not ask for more! - We loved every bit of this tour! Cartello (Gabbo) was our driver for the day, and he was immediately warm and welcoming. We had a scenic drive to Sorrento, where we were able to walk around the shops; we had a delicious lemon sorbet and purchased some fun mementos. Cartello was very accommodating with chilled waters and met us exactly at our meeting point to take us to the olive oil and pizza making experience at Gargiulio. There we met Margherita for Olive oil tour which was a lovely walk through their local farm, and an informative tour of the production facility followed by the tasting. Again, warm and welcoming people at each turn, offering additional bread and insights with the olive oil. We ended up purchasing several bottles of olive oil, balsamic, and some wine. After the tasting we went upstairs and were greeted by the waiters with a chilled glass of prosecco and delicious antipasto. The pizza making class with chef Aldo was so much fun. He was very encouraging and friendly with my young sons, and the pizza was so tasty! And the view overlooking the coast was breathtaking. A truly wonderful experience. We ended our day with a tour of Pompeii with Lucia—an intelligent and passionate guide. Absolutely recommend the whole experience! Worth the cost!

Cultural/fun family Italian 🇮🇹 day - From start to finish, this was a high-quality, well-organised experience. Our guide, the wonderful Catello, brought the day to life with his warmth, humour, and captivating storytelling. He seamlessly connected the sights and events, kept everything perfectly on schedule, and made our family feel welcome as we celebrated our daughter’s birthday. trip of a life time truly Rome Pompeii Venice Florence Tuscany - we had private driver , private guides in all places. Wonderful experience with very professionally quality knowledgeable people. From the planning - which took over a year to every pickup and guides. We started in Rome then on to Pompeii the a fast train to Venice then the tour country side of Tuscany & florence ( my favorite part - wine tasting at every turn. amazing JUST doesn't do it justice. Anna our planner & guide to Angelo our private driver and all the guides in every spectacular place we visited.

Amazing day in Pompeii and Sorrento - We are so glad we booked a day with Joe Banana. We were looking forward to Pompeii so much but knew it would be hot and crowded. Our driver took us there first, where we had a fantastic private tour tailored to our interest. She managed to keep us in the limited shade and go around the big groups. Then, the highlight of our trip was pizza making. It was at a real restaurant kitchen, but just our family made the pizzas, we all absolutely loved it. And the pizza tasted amazing! One of our favorite days of a 2 weeks trip.

Incredible day trip- Antonio is the best! - This was such a fun day and one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was taken care of from start to finish. Our amazing driver Antonio picked us up right on time. He was the BEST!! Cannot recommend Antonio enough. He was incredibly professional, personable, funny, and informative. He made the crazy drive along the Amalfi coast look easy. Everyone in our group wished he could take us along the coast every day. The Pizza making was so fun! The restaurant owners guided us through how to make the best Naples style pizza and the ambiance was wonderful. You cannot beat the views from their cozy family owned restaurant. In addition, our time in Pompeii was wonderful and informative. Our guide Paulo was the BEST!! He was funny but also incredibly knowledgeable about Pompeii and we all walked away feeling as if we learned so much. Would highly recommend this tour to others traveling along the Amalfi coast. Grazie Mille Antonio and Paolo!! You are missing out if you don’t book a tour with them!
