Pompeii and wine tour with a great driver and guide! - Excellent experience all around. Prompt and efficient pickup. Lorenzo was an excellent driver and went out of his way to find us an additional activity when the rain prevented us from going up mount vesuvius. Lucia was our Pompeii guide and she was fabulous. An exceptional day visiting Pompeii, followed by a beautiful luncheon at a winery at the base of Mt. Vesuvius! - Two days after our amazing Amalfi Coast Tour with Lorenzo, booked through Sorrento Silver Star, our family of seven once again met Lorenzo for a transfer back to Naples. Our main purpose for this trip was to catch our positioning flight to London. However, not wanting to miss an opportunity to see more of this part of Italy, the team at Sorrento Silver Star arranged for us to have a private tour of Scavi di Pompei with their brilliant tour guide, Lucia, with Lucia Pompeii Guide Tours. Just like Lorenzo, Lucia kept us enthralled with her vast knowledge of the history of Pompeii and the archeological activities there. Lucia’s demeanor was so joyful and her accent was so beautiful, which made the tour even more pleasant. Afterward, Lorenzo arranged for us to have an incredible lunch, wine tasting and tour of the beautiful Cantina del Vesuvio. The Cantina del Vesuvio is a nearly century-old, 16-hectare winery located right on the southern slopes of Mount Vesuvius. The setting could not have been more fitting for our Pompeii-day. Our host, Carmine, was delightful, humorous and welcoming, and both the meal and tour were a wonderful end to our vacation in Italy. Our highest recommendation for Luisa and the team at Sorrento Silver Star for having such great partnerships, and for allowing us the flexibility to customize our experience. Sorrento Silver Star and especially Lorenzo took incredible care of our family, and helped make our vacation truly unforgettable! We had such a fabulous rapport with Lorenzo that we plan on keeping in touch!

Pompeii and winery - We booked to go to Pompeii and a wine tour our driver Nando was prompt and drove us up to Pompeii to meet Lucia our tour guide for Pompeii, Lucia was so knowledgeable and made our tour interesting and informative we had a great 2 hours with her then Nando met us and drove us to a beautiful winery where we spent some time having lunch and trying the lovely wines. Nando was right there waiting as soon as we finished and drove us back to the hotel. Thank you Nando, Lucia and of course Luisa for making our day so memorable

Our trip began with plane delays and lost luggage. Even with our arrival time changing, Silver Star handled everything seamlessly—sending a new driver later that evening once most of our bags arrived. Thank you, Pino and Lello, for making a stressful travel day so much easier! We booked a Pompeii and Herculaneum tour, with a wonderful suggestion to visit a family-owned vineyard. Next, we took an Amalfi Coast tour that was simply breathtaking. Our driver, Lorenzo, stopped at stunning viewpoints, took our photos, and even brought us to a beautiful seaside restaurant with incredible food and service. We also visited a family-run Limoncello farm—a fantastic way to experience the region’s traditions. This tour gave us a taste of each town and left us wanting to return! Thank you, Lorenzo! Finally, our transfer back to Naples Airport was smooth and punctual. Pino was kind, prompt, and ensured we arrived right on time for our flight. Fabulous trip to Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius - We did a private ride to Pompeii followed with lunch at a family owned winery and then a hike up Mt. Vesuvius. We booked with Luisa and Sorrento Silvertar. Our driver was LORENZO. HIGHLY recommend. We are a party of 6. Lorenzo is expert at navigating where we needed to be and his timing was perfect. Also suggest obtaining a guide at Pompeii!! There are over 120 acres of ruins at Pompeii - we only had 2 hours of highlights and our guide was very helpful in making sure we saw key sites

Wonderful! - Loved this tour! Luisa the owner, Roberto, our driver, and Lucia, our guide in Pompeii were all amazing! If you can, request Luisa as your guide as she is well-versed and well-respected! They were in contact with us and each other and we were never left waiting. We had great conversations with Roberto, who is very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. The winery is beautiful and served us a great lunch and it was fun to taste the different wines. Definitely recommend!!

Pompeii!!! - Thanks Roberto and our guide through the ruins Louisa for the wonderful tour exploring and learning about Pompeii. Louisa took us to see all the special places in Pompeii and educated us well on the history. Roberto is so easy to work with and always prompt and kind. Instead of the wine tour my family chose to take his suggestion to eat at a local restaurant palazzo Vialdo outside of Napoli on our way back to Rome. It was a great choice and after we were able to relax on our way back to Rome. We’ve had the best family vacation using this company. Their employees are really wonderful. Familia! 🫶🏻❤️🇮🇹
