Awesome tour! Lots of walking, not stroller friendly. - Vince was our guide and he was phenomenal. He made funny jokes along the way and was very knowledgeable and professional. The tour was paced well. We learned quite a bit and are so thankful to have the opportunity to go. It was quite a bit of walking, and uneven walking while in the ruins, but that’s to be expected. Don’t bother taking a stroller in if you have a little one because you’ll have to carry your baby anyway. We knew there was a chance of that going into it, but to be helpful for people doing it in the future leave the stroller behind.

So many ways to die - This is a learning experience. Our guide, Sergio with Askos, was an archeologist who works on the site. We learned a lot. It is fascinating. The second half of the tour is less crowded and extremely interesting. We learned so much. Bring water. Use the toilet before the tour. The train station at Herculean is a ten minute walk up hill from the exit of the site. The station is currently (sept 2025) under renovation. Follow the signs. Wewerethere during the Strike, so it was a bit of a pain to get back to Sorrento.

Wonderful All Day Tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum - Our tour guide Diego was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, and very kind and patient. I felt like he packed a lot into a little time. Honestly, it could've been three days and it would've been interesting but since we only had several hours, he did an amazing job. There is a lot of walking, which was no problem for us, but might be a problem for someone who is mobility impaired. Bring water and drink it all up, because one of the fun things you can do is fill your water bottle up at the ancient Roman water spring.
