Highly recommended to get a taste of Pompeii, Mt. Vesuvius, and Herculaneum! - Excellent tour with Antonio! He is friendly and a good driver. He was responsive about communication before the tour over Whatsapp. He clearly loves his job and knows a lot about the history and the sites. It was very helpful to have a curated experience of Pompeii as it is huge and he had lots of fun anecdotes. Herculaneum is much smaller but better preserved so was very cool to see both places and see the similarities and differences. Mt. Vesuvius was a nice hike at the end to get the full experience, but if you'd rather spend the time at Pompeii or Herculaneum, it's not a must-see. Antonio was flexible and adaptable to what we wanted to see and do and ensured we had sufficient breaks (and a yummy pizza lunch near Herculaneum!). Highly recommend his tour!

A perfect day with a perfect guide! Grazie, Toni! - Toni was the best guide ever! I truly cannot imagine a better experience. It was perfect in all ways. We got picked up from our hotel in a beautiful van, got the best tour or both Pompeii and Herculaneum. It did not feel overwhelming but absolutely perfect for the amount of information. Fantastic tour of some amazing ruins - This private tour with Antonio was a fantastic way to learn some amazing history about Napoli. He was so knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. Even had my daughter's engaged the whole day. Sadly it was cloudy by the time we got to Mt Vesuvius, so we couldn't see inside the crater, but nevertheless, it was still an amazing experience. I'd suggest doing Vesuvius in the morning when clouds are clear. Highly recommend this tour !

Trifecta of History - The tour was fantastic. Antonini met us on the train platform and got us started right away. He used the travel time between locations to give us background information and then gave the details on location. Vesuvius was about a 2 mile hike up and back. Not too vertical and a wide flat trail. The views are worth the walk. Pompeii was so much more than we were expecting. 2-3 hours barely gets a start of seeing everything but time enough for the main areas. Again, Antonini was fantastic. He knew the information and was passionate about the history. I expected Herculaneum to be just small Pompeii but it stood on its own. Smaller but better preserved. That allowed us to spend more time on the details of what survived. Highly recommend Antonini for this tour if you have a chance.
