The initial part of the trek takes you through small villages and terraced fields. Arrive in Sarangkot by early afternoon. Sarangkot is renowned for its sunrise and sunset views over the Himalayas. Explore the village, interact with locals, and unwind. In the evening, head to the Sarangkot viewpoint to witness the breathtaking sunset over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
Sarangkot to World Peace Pagoda and Return to Lakeside
World Peace Pagoda - Wake up early to catch the sunrise from the Sarangkot viewpoint. The early morning views are spectacular and worth the effort. After spending a few hours in Sarangkot, begin your trek towards the World Peace Pagoda. Descend from Sarangkot through forests and small settlements, heading towards Phewa Lake. You can take a boat across Phewa Lake to shorten the trek, offering a relaxing break and beautiful views of the lake. Reach the World Peace Pagoda by midday. This Buddhist stupa provides panoramic views of Pokhara city, Phewa Lake, and the Annapurna range. After spending some time at the World Peace Pagoda, start your descent towards Lakeside.
