Fly to Pokhara, Drive to Sudame, and Trek to Banthanti

Pokhara - Begin the day with a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Upon arrival, you will be greeted at the airport and driven through the charming villages of Naya Pul and Birethanti, continuing to our starting point at Sudame. Here, embark on a brief trek through the village, crossing your first suspension bridge. Continue trekking to the aptly named 3000 steps, traversing the mountainside and entering the Himalayas. Finally, pause for the night at Banthanti to rest and rejuvenate.

Banthanti to Ghorepani

Ghorepani - Today offers a more relaxed trek as we journey to the picturesque mountainside village of Ghorepani. This afternoon, explore the village or unwind at the hotel, enjoying a panoramic view of the Annapurna Ranges. For those eager to witness the sunset, an afternoon climb to Poon Hill offers stunning views over the western ranges.

Poon Hill Sunrise and Trek to Tadapani

Poon Hill - Today presents the most challenging yet rewarding part of the trek. Begin with a pre-dawn ascent to Poon Hill, where the breathtaking Annapurna Himalayas gradually reveal themselves as the sun’s rays illuminate the majestic peaks. Despite the early start and chilly weather, the experience is truly worthwhile. After breakfast, continue trekking along mountain ridges through rhododendron forests towards the village of Tadapani for an overnight stay. Enjoy spectacular views of Machhapuchchre (Fish Tail) Mountain as the sun sets.

Trek Tadapani to Ghandruk, then Drive to Pokhara

Ghandruk - This morning, trek to the Gurung Village of Ghandruk, passing through rhododendron forests and small waterfalls. If open, visit the Ghandruk Museum before taking a vehicle back to Pokhara via Birethanti, completing the Poon Hill loop.

Deluxe Bus Trip - Pokhara to Kathmandu

Pokhara - Today, head to the Pokhara bus park to board our Deluxe Bus service to Kathmandu. Enjoy a Nepali buffet lunch along the way, with an expected arrival in Kathmandu between 4 pm and 7 pm, depending on traffic.

We pick you up from your Thamel based Hotel for your 25 minute flight to Pokhara. Then drive you to Sudame where you start your trek.

Fourty years ago when this tour was first conceived the road head finished at Nayapul. Now roads traverse deeper into the Himalayas so we take advantage of this to save you up to two days walking along dirt roads watching locals drive by to their villages

The trip includes a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara on day (1) one and a Deluxe Bus Journey back to Kathmandu on day (5) five.
