The historic Bindhya Basini Temple is perched on a small hill in Old Pokhara. Established in the 17th century, this temple is dedicated to Durga, the fierce incarnation of Parvati, worshipped here in the form of a saligram (a fossilized ammonite shell, regarded as a sacred representation of the Hindu god Vishnu).
- Seti River Gorge - The powerful Seti River flows directly through Pokhara, but it remains hidden unless sought out. The river has carved a deep, narrow gorge through the town, turning the water a milky white. The best view of the Seti River is from the park just north of Old Pokhara near the Gurkha Museum.
- Gurkha Memorial Museum - Situated just north of Mahendra Pul, near the KI Singh Bridge, the Gurkha Museum honors the accomplishments of the esteemed Gurkha regiments. With accompanying sound effects, it chronicles Gurkha history from the 19th-century Indian Uprising, through two World Wars, to present-day conflicts and peacekeeping missions, featuring an intriguing exhibit on Gurkhas who have received the Victoria Cross medal.
- Mahendra Cave - Close to Bat Cave is the modest Mahendra Gufa, the first large cave discovered in Pokhara. The initial 125 meters of the cave are illuminated, revealing dusty, vandalized limestone formations, some revered as Shiva lingams. Beyond the electric lights, bats can be found.
02:00 pm or 5:00 pm: The sightseeing tour concludes and you will be returned to the hotel.
