Ulleri - Begin the day with a delightful breakfast in Pokhara before embarking on a short drive to Nayapul, passing through stunning landscapes. Upon arrival in Nayapul, the trek to Ulleri commences. The journey takes you through charming local villages such as Birethanti, Hile, Tikhedhunga, and finally Ulleri. From Ulleri, enjoy breathtaking views of Annapurna South and Himchuli. This village is renowned for its beauty and is home to the Magar community. Explore the quaint settlements and experience the daily life of the Magar people.
Trek to Ghorepani (2880m/9449ft)
Ghorepani - Set out early in the morning for Ghorepani. The trail meanders through a picturesque area adorned with blooming oak and rhododendron trees, featuring steps and a gentle ascent. In the village of Ghorepani, discover numerous small streams and waterfalls. The path continues through Banthanti (2210m), Nangge Thanti (2430m), Lower Ghorepani, and finally Ghorepani. Be aware that the trail is snow-covered throughout the winter months. Upon reaching Ghorepani, be captivated by the stunning surroundings.
Trek to Poon Hill (3193m/10476ft) and Trek to Tadapani (2630m/8629ft)
Poon Hill - At dawn, embark on a hike to Poon Hill, taking about an hour to witness the breathtaking sunrise. As the sun rises, the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and Himchuli ranges are bathed in a spectrum of colors. This location offers one of the most enchanting views of the sunrise illuminating the snow-capped peaks. After capturing stunning photographs, descend from Poon Hill to Tadapani. The trail is relatively easy, with a gentle downhill path through diverse and beautiful landscapes. Tadapani is considered one of the most remarkable villages in the Annapurna Region.
Trek down to Ghandruk (1940m/6365ft)
Ghandruk - Journey through small villages to reach Ghandruk, a village inhabited by the Gurung community. The village features small stairways connecting guest houses and teahouses. Ghandruk is characterized by traditional Nepalese houses and welcoming residents from various ethnic backgrounds and cultures. During festival seasons, unique traditions can be observed.
Trek down to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara
Pokhara - On the final day of the trek, enjoy breakfast at the teahouse before descending to Nayapul through familiar landscapes and numerous stone steps at the entrance of Ghandruk village. After approximately 4 hours of descent, arrive in Nayapul and take a vehicle to Pokhara. The drive from Nayapul to Pokhara via the Baglung-Pokhara highway takes about 2 hours.
