Upon reaching the village, you will be welcomed into a homestay with a warm and friendly local family. A traditional Nepali lunch will be served. In the afternoon, a farmer will introduce you to commonly used cultivation tools. Dinner will be provided, and you will spend the night at the homestay.
Orientation Session
Pokhara - After breakfast, the farmer will explain the techniques of seasonal farming. Post-lunch, you will be taken to the fields for a practical demonstration. After dinner, you will retire for the night.
Day of Experience
Pokhara - Today, you will engage in farming activities using the necessary tools under the supervision of your farmer guide, who will offer instructions as needed. You will work both morning and afternoon shifts, with a break for lunch. It will be a fulfilling day of fieldwork. After dinner, you will rest for the night.
Repeat Day 03
Pokhara - Today, you will repeat the activities from Day 03 in the field. You will spend another night with the local family.
Acknowledgment of Your Work and Farewell Program
Pokhara - Today, your efforts will be recognized in a farewell program hosted by the local family and farmer. After lunch, you will embark on a 40-minute walk, followed by a bus ride back to the office, where you will receive a certificate. You will then be dropped off at your original location, marking the end of the trip.
