Stari Bar - Old Bar, inhabited since ancient times, is celebrated for its multiculturalism and cultural heritage, with influences from the Illyrians, Greeks, Venetians, Ottomans, and the Byzantine Empire, alongside local residents. The surrounding cliffs add drama, while the cobbled streets and architectural heritage create an atmosphere that transports visitors to past centuries and different lifestyles.
Visitors will explore the interior among the ancient walls, enjoy views from the citadel’s summit, visit the archaeological museum, and have free time to conclude the day with traditionally served coffee, a beer mixed with wild pomegranate syrup, or another local delicacy.
