Visit: Republic Square - the main city square, Bokeška Street - known for its charming cafes and modern vibe, Millennium Bridge - a symbol of the city’s identity, Sastavci (Skaline) - the oldest bridge in Podgorica, Clock Tower and Old Town, which is the cultural and historical heart of Podgorica, the Temple of the Resurrection of Christ, the third largest Orthodox temple globally. Finally, visit St. George Church, dating from the 9th-11th century, one of the oldest active Christian chapels in Montenegro and beyond.
Return to the hotel. Free time. Overnight stay.
Žabljak – National Park Durmitor - Đurđevića Tara Bridge
Durmitor National Park Visitor Centre - Breakfast at the hotel.
Travel to Žabljak - Journey duration about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Arrive at Žabljak. Tour the National Park - approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Drive to the Đurđevića Tara Bridge - approximately 30 minutes.
Enjoy the view from one of Europe’s most beautiful bridges. Free time for refreshments at the nearby bar, a walk by the bridge, or for the adventurous, a ZIP LINE - optional.
Lunch – approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Cetinje - Njeguši - Lovćen Serpentine - Kotor – Budva
Cetinje - Breakfast.
Drive to Cetinje – approximately 30 minutes.
Arrive at Cetinje. City tour: Cetinje Monastery, Ćipuri Church, the former Njegoš’s residence - Biljarda, King Nikola’s Museum, the Presidential Palace (duration approximately 1 hour).
Drive to Njeguši. Arrive at Njeguši village. Taste traditional products in the oldest tavern of its kind in Montenegro - since 1881 (about 1 hour and 30 minutes).
Drive the Lovćen serpentine (duration approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes). Pause for photos on the road, which is said to be designed by Joseph Slade in honor of Princess Milena, with this part of the route forming the initial letter of her name.
Kotor Old City - Arrive in Kotor. City tour: the Old Town, the Square of Arms, the Cathedral of St. Tryphon, the Church of St. Luke, the Cat Square – approximately 1 hour.
Lunch at one of the city’s most renowned restaurants (about 1 hour).
Budva City Walls - Drive to Budva (about 30 minutes).
Old Town tour: beautiful churches, squares, Citadel. Enjoy a walk through the winding streets and a stunning marina (approximately 1 hour).

Tour by Train – Kolašin – National Park Biogradska Gora – Morača Monastery
Biogradska Gora - Breakfast.
Transfer to the railway station. Train journey Podgorica – Kolašin – about 1 hour. Enjoy a scenic ride high above the north, passing through the cliffs of the canyon, with views of the Morača River and the Platije Canyon. Delight in the sights, including crossing the Mala Rijeka Bridge, one of Europe’s highest (498 m long and 200 m high). On departure, enjoy the canyon view “from the height,” and on return, pass through the narrowest and deepest part of the canyon, pausing for photos of this natural wonder.
Arrive at Kolašin. Continue by car, minivan, van, or tourist class bus to National Park Biogradska Gora, a “realm of untouched nature” – approximately 20 minutes.
A tour of the park, featuring the Biogradsko, a special tourist attraction – approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Return drive to the city, enjoying the beautiful landscapes.
Kolašin Municipality - Free time for city sightseeing – approximately 1 hour. A short stay in this area offers the benefits of an aerial spa. The mountain climate, altitude, clean air, and healthy natural food ensure refreshment and recovery.
Lunch at a national restaurant (in Kolašin) offering traditional and modern dishes – approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Morača Monastery - Drive to the Morača Monastery – approximately 30 minutes.
Arrive at the Morača Monastery. Tour the Monastery – approximately 30 minutes. Many visitors describe the monastery’s atmosphere as unique. Legend has it that the yellow stone used to build the monastery was transported from the village of Tušina by forming a human chain, passing the stone hand to hand.
Drive along the Morača River Canyon, known as Platije. Enjoy the breathtaking landscape. Pause for photos to capture nature’s beauty - driving time about 30 minutes.
Return to the hotel. Free time. Overnight stay.

This tour package, organized by Monte Mare Travel, offers an opportunity to explore the unique wonders of Montenegro. Starting in Podgorica, the capital, the journey heads north to Žabljak, the highest town in the Balkans and a renowned ski center. Visitors will explore the Durmitor National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1980, the Black Lake, and the Đurđevića Tara Bridge. The tour continues to Cetinje, the Old Royal Capital, and the village of Njeguši, followed by a scenic drive along the Lovćen Serpentine, a popular tourist route, leading to Kotor, one of Europe’s top 10 destinations under UNESCO protection, and Budva, known as the ‘metropolis of Montenegrin tourism.’ On the final day, guests will enjoy a train tour offering views of the Platije Canyon, which cuts through dramatic cliffs and rocks, and visit Kolašin, referred to as ‘an aerial spa,’ as well as the Biogradska Gora National Park, one of Europe’s last three rainforests, Biogradsko Lake, and the Morača Monastery, established in 1252.
