Podgorica Walking Tour

Podgorica Municipality - Arrive at the airport (Podgorica or Tivat) or port (Kotor/Bar/Tivat). Stay in a 4-star hotel in Podgorica. Enjoy city sightseeing.

Guests will be welcomed at the airport and then proceed to Podgorica. Check-in at the hotel in Podgorica.

Meet at a prearranged time to begin a leisurely walk through the city with a guide – approximately 2 hours.

Visit: Republic Square - the main city square, Bokeška Street - known for its charming cafes and urban vibe, Millennium Bridge - a symbol of the city’s visual identity, Sastavci (Skaline) - the oldest bridge in Podgorica, Clock Tower and Old Town located in the heart of Podgorica, preserving rich historical and cultural heritage, the Temple of the Resurrection of Christ, the third largest Orthodox temple in the world. Finally, visit St. George Church, dating from the 9th-11th century; it is one of the oldest active Christian chapels in Montenegro and beyond.

Cetinje (Old Royal Capital) – Lovćen Mausoleum – Lovćen Serpentine - Kotor - Budva

Cetinje - Breakfast.

Begin the tour at the agreed time. Drive to Cetinje (Old Royal Capital) – approximately 30 minutes.

Arrive in Cetinje. City sightseeing: Cetinje Monastery, Ćipuri Church, the former Njegoš’s residence - Biljarda, King Nikola’s Museum, the Presidential Palace (duration approximately 1 hour).

Lovćen National Park - Drive to Lovćen Mausoleum – approximately 40 minutes.

Arrive at Lovćen. Visit Njegoš’s Mausoleum (461 steps to the top). The stairs to Njegoš’s Mausoleum also pass through a tunnel in the mountain, and after a short walk, you reach the “sky under the clouds,” at Jezerski Vrh – Lake Peak, offering panoramic views – approximately 1 hour.

Drive the Lovćen Serpentine (duration approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes). Pause for photos on the road, which is said to have been designed by Joseph Slade in honor of Princess Milena, with this section of the route forming the initial letter of her name.

Kotor Old City - Arrive in Kotor. City sightseeing: the Old Town, the Square of Arms, the Cathedral of St. Tryphon, the Church of St. Luke, the Cat Square – approximately 1 hour.

Lunch at one of the city’s most renowned restaurants (about 1 hour).

Budva Municipality - Drive to Budva (about 30 minutes).

Arrive in Budva. With a guide, explore the Old Town, which blends seamlessly with its surroundings, stroll through winding streets, and admire the late Middle Ages squares that form a cohesive whole with solid ramparts, towers, and city gates, as well as Orthodox and Catholic churches – approximately 1 hour.

Return. Arrive at the hotel. Free time. Overnight stay.

Tara ‘White Water’ Rafting

Tara River Canyon - Depart in the early morning, driving towards Šćepan Polje. Journey duration: approximately 2 - 3 hours.

Arrive at the camp, meet with skippers and other rafting participants, and enjoy a traditional Montenegrin breakfast at the riverside restaurant (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes).

Prepare for rafting - fitting with neoprene clothing and footwear, safety belts, helmets (set for GoPro camera) – approximately 30 minutes.

The adventure begins with a short and exciting off-road vehicle drive to the rafting tour starting point “Brštanovica” (approximately 40 minutes). Upon arrival, the skipper will provide all necessary rafting instructions.

Rafting with breaks for swimming and photography at the most scenic spots, including the most beautiful waterfall on the Tara (approximately 3 - 4 hours).

Return to the camp. Enjoy a traditional Montenegrin lunch – approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Most products are organic and sourced from local farmers.

Return to the hotel. Free time. Overnight stay.

Local Traditional Winery - Pavlova Side – Rijeka Crnojevića – Skadar Lake Cruising

Lake Skadar - Breakfast.

Begin the tour at the agreed time.

Drive to the local traditional winery – approximately 45 minutes. Tour the winery, wine cellar, and vineyards. Learn about the production of wines, brandies, liqueurs, jams…

Taste wine, grape brandy, and liqueurs – approximately 1 hour.

Continue to Pavlova Side - one of Montenegro’s most attractive viewpoints, the most famous “postcard” of Montenegro. Photo break – approximately 20 minutes.

Drive to Rijeka Crnojevića. Sightseeing. This tour offers a perfect opportunity to experience old Montenegro and the former lifestyle in this region.

Begin cruising. The cruise lasts about 1 hour 30 minutes. See fishing villages, cultural and historical monuments, the flora and fauna of the lake, and swim in the lake.

Lunch at a local fish restaurant – approximately 1 hour.

Return to the hotel. Free time. Overnight stay.
