Plovdiv is approximately a 2-hour drive from Sofia, located in the western part of the Thracian Valley. It is one of the world’s oldest settlements, originating on three nearby hills with a history dating back to 4,000 BC. The city has preserved Thracian, Roman, and Bulgarian heritage from various eras. In Plovdiv, enjoy a 2-hour guided walking tour through the town’s center, where you’ll learn fascinating historical facts and legends while visiting its most intriguing sights. • In rare cases, if fewer than 3 participants select the same guided language (English, Italian, or Spanish), the tour will be conducted with an audio guide or smart guide instead of a live guide. This will not affect the price or the overall tour itinerary as described in your reservation.
• Guides are not obligated to provide guided commentary while inside the bus. Explanations and guided tours typically take place at designated stops and attractions rather than during transit.
