• Assenova Krepost (Asen’s Fortress) - The journey continues inland to the picturesque Rhodope Mountains, where Asen’s Fortress is perched on elevated terrain offering breathtaking panoramic views. Visitors will spend approximately 30 minutes here to admire the vistas of the mountains, the town of Asenovgrad, and the Thracian Valley.
• Bachkovo Monastery - This is the second largest monastery in Bulgaria. The monastery complex consists of two rectangular courtyards: the original northern one and the southern one added in the 19th century. Within the complex, the main church dedicated to the Virgin Mary, built in 1604, can be explored. It follows the Bulgarian monastic tradition with service rooms on the first floor and living quarters on the second and third floors, featuring wide porches facing the courtyard.
• The Wonderful Bridges - The Wonderful Bridges, also known as the Divine Bridges or Chudnite Mostove, are a natural rock phenomenon situated in the Rhodope Mountains of southern Bulgaria.
