Must do experience while on vacation - A very fun and must do experience if on vacation!! Pepe was our guide and he was an absolute blast with his knowledge and humor. Highly recommend him!

Missed out but still rating them high - Unfortunately I couldn't make my reservation as I got an eye injury that required emergency room treatment and couldnt get my eye wet. The company provided me a full refund so thats really class act of them.

This is a must see! - I booked a private experience for two people at Rio Secreto in Quintana Roo. Upon arrival, we were issued wetsuits, helmets with lights, water shoes, and a life jacket. Tainara was our guide and Luciano was the photographer during our experience. They were both amazing hosts, knowledgeable, and knew how to navigate the caves with expertise. My husband and I shared a wonderful picnic for two set up by Tainara inside the caves which is unforgettable. Cons-This is a difficult excursion if you have mobility issues or claustrophobia. We did navigate tight spaces which can be an issue for some. Also, a private experience is a little more costly. Pros-The experience is a must if your body is able. Although the cost of photography is separate, Luciano took the best shots at amazing cave locations. Tainara was the best! She went at our pace and explained information so thoroughly. Highly recommended. Ask for Tainara and Luciano. You won’t regret it.

Great Tour of the Cave - Great tour of the cave and Dany was a great guide. Cave was beautiful. Wetsuit and shoes were provided. We were not allowed to take phones so wasnt able to take pictures.

Awesome Tour - Great experience and fantastic guide! The walking/swimming through the caves felt very adventurous. Thanks Philipe you were so fun and knowledgeable.

- The inside of the cave was phenomenal. I do not swim very well so I was so anxious about drowning inside the cave. Our guide Guillermo is the best! He helped me through the difficult spots. He was such a gentleman. He helped me through the deep waters and held my hand when wading through the rough waters . I have to say the shoes they give you does not really help with the rocks inside the cave . It helps that they gave us wet suit and life vests. Wear the wet suit ! It is cold inside the water. The life vests is pretty self explanatory. You will have to wear one because you do not know what your experience will be like . They have some kids in my group and some of them the parents carried them through the rough waters. They did very well. Overall, I am glad I did it. Would I do it again ? Probably not but that’s just me and the fear of being in the water inside a dark cave . 😣

Fun, beautiful family experience with some deceptions - Fun, interesting and beautiful! Lunch provided was very average… I had reserved a french guide since the kids don’t understand english and had a confirmation on my e-ticket, but once on the site, no french guide for us. Come to find out from a french canadian family at the hotel, that they went the next day and they had a french guide. Anyway, the guide we had, Tainara, was very understanding and fun. The photos are really a tourist trap! One photo for 30 USD!!! That’s like almost 50$ CAD for one photo!!! Well, we’ll need to cherish the memories…

Good experience but skip the photos - The tour was great. Omar was very knowledgeable and spoke English well. The photographer Luciano was funny and took some good photos. The food was so so after and the photos quite expensive at $30 usd per pic. Id prefer a pay restaurant and the photos be $10 ea

LYING SCAMMERS! - Rio Secreto is a scam company run by crooks. They advertise false information on these tours websites, take your money and disappear. I booked this tour with the understanding that they would pick up in our area as stated on their site. The second we booked the trip, we contacted them to arrange pick up. They told us they could not pick us up without explanation. We even offered to pay extra but they pretty much told us we were screwed. We were not able to find our own transportation, so we asked them if we could cancel our trip and get a refund. We pointed out that they had falsely advertised the transportation on the site. That is when they told us they would not give us a refund and then stopped all contact. This is the most dishonest company I have ever experienced. Also, they are so petty that if you file a chargeback, they will give the credit card company false information so you still can't get your money back.

Terrible place - I worked in secret Rio and the truth is the cave is beautiful. What's wrong is who runs the Enterprise. They have despicable human treatment of their collaborators. Guillermina, the graduate in charge of the HR department, lacks kindness and instead of seeing for the collaborators she goes for the Enterprise. They didn't want to make the profit-sharing payment. And to date there are several that have not received this fee. The most important thing I recorded, it seemed to me, was when I signed an employment contract with them and asked them for one of the two copies of the contract I had signed and it was denied. They violated one of their rights as workers. They claim to be an ESR and it is not consistent with their actions. They have their workers contributing less than they receive from payroll. And that's just to mention a few things. Tania, the park manager and guide, feels empowered to do whatever she wants. It imposes punishments are justification and in moments of stress wow that spoke to us ugly (on occasion he grabbed my arm and waved it, asking if the clock was not good because we had a delay in time inside the cave). If you have a chance to go: miss it. There are tours with the same attractiveness and better quality of treatment to their collaborators.
