Access from Gusinje is via an asphalt road to the Greba Valley. The trail begins at the Eco Catun in Grebaja, passes by Suljova drinking fountain and the Mountain Center ‘’Carnation’’, and continues through the forest until it reaches the plateau (Ćafa) Volušnice, where a beautiful spring fountain is located.
From the Volušnica plateau, the path ascends to the top of Popadija, then follows the ridge to the peaks of Talijanka and Maja e Can. A short break of ten minutes is planned at each peak. From the summits of Talijanka and Maja e Can, you can enjoy one of the most stunning views of the peaks of Karanfil, Očnjak, Maja e Bojs, Fortita, Vojuša, Karaula, and more.
The entire trail is well marked. Drinking water is available at the start of the path in Greba (Suljova fountain) and below the summit of Popadija.
Note: The tour lasts 5 hours plus transfer time depending on your accommodation location.

This hiking tour provides a stunning view of the Prokletije massif, the largest mountain range in the Balkans. Part of the Dinarides mountain range, Prokletije is the southernmost, tallest, and most striking section. The Prokletije region is divided administratively among Albania, Serbia - Kosovo, and Montenegro. The massif stretches from Skadar Lake and the Zeta Valley in the southwest to the Drim River in the east, Metohija and Mokra Gora in the northeast, and the Komovi in the west. Due to its majestic appearance and towering sharp peaks, Prokletije is often referred to as the “Balkan Alps.” In Albanian, Prokletije is known as Bjeshket e Nemuna, meaning “damn mountains,” highlighting the area’s rugged inaccessibility.
