Two great days of fishing. 1 offshore and 1 inshore. Both captains were great and put us on the fish!

capt chad and mate patrick put us on some real nice tuna in challenging and windy conditions. 4 YF boated all over 70 lbs. went home with coolers full of fish and great memories. Thanks to both.

Captain (Zach) & deck hand (Cameron) very pleasant & helpful. They picked us up at the houseboat we were staying at in Venice marina, and dropped us off at the Venice marina as well, making it easier for us. We were not having much success at first stop. Ran to another spot farther out and caught 6 nice yellowfin tuna. No other boats at second spot. It may have been a gamble, but it paid off. With the extra run time, they worked to get us 6 fish (1 per person on boat), with a double hook-up at one point.

The fishery is amazing. The captain and mate were incredible. Their experience and knowledge of the fishery, the area and equipment is outstanding. The accommodations far exceeded our expectation. Thank you for a great experience!!

We caught so many tuna we had to tell the captain we only brought 8 coolers and they are full to the top with tuna

I wanted to catch yellowfin Tuna. That was made clear from the start. We caught only Black fin. I still had a very good time.

The only reason I write four star is because I can’t give you the five star. A five star experience would be nearly impossible to repeat. Reasons are at the end of review.The positive -Very nice Boat ,very nice gear and a good crew. We landed two large Yellowfins. The bite was slow and the tuna were down deep. ,but the captain and mate were able to get them biting which is amazing to watch them in action! If you’re considering Tuna fishing these guys really know what they’re doing, it’s still fishing at the end of the day, but they will put you on the fish.Negative -I would say the captain and the first mate are young and relied too heavily on GPS navigation and just auto pilot. I realize they do this every day but sleeping behind the wheel cutting across the gulf relying on man-made electronics, which could fail at any time ,it’s kinda dangerous. sleeping behind the wheel from waypoint to waypoint doesn’t play well to the ‘intensity ‘fishing brand. I sat right behind them and watch them both nod off . Also,The captain and mate vaped constantly and blew all the vape smoke back on the passengers. Not a good example for the younger customers.Exposure to secondhand vape smoke can have a number of harmful health effects. As a business owner myself, I rely on feedback also. It may seem like I’m nagging, but if you could clean up these few things we could get to a five star experience which is I know what you’re after ultimately! Again, thanks for the opportunity that you created for us to go out and catch some fish!
