Setting Sail to Silk Caye

The Caribbean sun was just beginning to rise as I boarded the boat in Placencia, ready for a day of adventure at Silk Caye. The sight of the turtles, rays, and sharks gathering around the boat was a fitting end to an unforgettable day. As we cruised back to shore, I couldn’t help but reflect on the beauty of the Silk Cayes and the importance of protecting such precious ecosystems.
