Upon arrival, Mr. Vicitacion and his family will warmly welcome you! Set up your glamping tent, then visit the family’s charming “cuy” (Guinea pig) farm to observe how these adorable creatures are raised and fed. Proceed to the family’s organic farm, which features a variety of seasonal crops such as potatoes, broad beans, quinoa, and herbs like chamomile and Andean mint. Mr. Vicitacion will gladly show you all the products and demonstrate the use of traditional tools for planting and harvesting.
Next, explore the Puka Kancha archaeological sites or the Prehistoric paintings, both located about 20 minutes away, with a family member as your guide. If you’re interested in traditional cooking methods, feel free to visit the kitchen to see how dinner is prepared using mud stoves.
Finally, enjoy a night of glamping and sleep under the stars.
Day 2: Departure:
Pisac - Wake up and embrace the magic of the place, enjoying a traditional Andean breakfast with the family. Depending on the weather, you can request to have breakfast inside your tent or outside to savor a unique meal with stunning views.
