Friendly and helpful - No nonsense approach. We got our bikes very quickly and without fuzz.
The company dog takes an immediate liking :-)
Lent us a powerbank for the trip.

Excellent - I loved the experience. The bike was very well equipped, with all the security. Besides being super co fortable, I got to know the city and the beach by bike. I recommend it to travel more easily in summer Pisa

Top bike ride! - Fantastic bike trip! We rented e-bikes and cycled from downtown Pisa through beautiful landscape to Marina di Pisa. The equipment worked perfectly. The e-bikes were good, and helmets and mobile holder were included. The app for the route was easy to follow. The staff were awesome and facilitated a great trip. Coming back, guaranteed! Recommended.

Family with teenage children on Wednesday - Great service from nice staff with good English. The e-bikes worked smoothly to and from the marina, where we locked them to swim. The road was easy to follow and they explained what we needed to know.

- My husband and I rented bikes here for a day and the rental place we highly recommend. We have / had no track of Pisa but got great help with how we and where we can / should bike. Great bikes and service staff who really wanted us to have a great day in Pisa by bike!👌🙌
The bike ride itself was a nice bike path all the way to the beach. I had an electric bike and my husband a regular bike.

Pisa bike ride to the sea! - Really enjoyed this trip. The ride was very flat and not very crowded. When we got to the beach, we had some fresh seafood at Roca De Mar on the seaside.
The young man who issued the bikes to us was very knowledgeable and gave us all the info we needed to navigate the old tram way to the sea.
.
The lady that ran the shop was very understanding and helped us with many questions. We then decided to buy 3 shirts, including a custom riding type jersey with the shop’s logo.
Very customer friendly business.

Bike Ride of Pisa - a must do activity. - Great experience/adventure with the family. Lovely dedicated and scenic route to the beach. Some nice places for lunch and ice-cream. We went for the electric bikes - well worth the extra cost. Something other the Tower of Pisa that has to be a must do when in Pisa.

Very good walk!! - Good address to rent bikes on Pisa!! They are very friendly and professional people, we took electric bikes to make the ride to the sea on a safe bike path and absolutely do not regret!! It was a first time for my wife and daughter on electric bikes and they were super happy!!We were able to make ourselves a small terrace restaurant by the sea, it was nice.
Thanks to Elena and Mario.

Great fun but not as easy as it looks - I definitely recommend this bike rental and tour even though I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars! The experience is really fun, the bikes are in great shape, and the people at Smile and Ride are really nice. We were going to be late due to a train strike that delayed our arrival and they were flexible with our time slot. There are probably less expensive places to rent bikes, but with this organization you know you will get good quality e-bikes and reliable support. They are very conveniently located by the train station. The reason I give it 4 out of 5 stars is more to advise others to be aware of a few things: 1. the app is not very good. It will drain your phone battery, is hard to see, and not user friendly. If you use Google Maps and set it to bike travel you'll get EXACTLY the same route, much easier to use, and easier on your battery life. 2. Parts of the route are not as easy as you might think. There are a few places at the beginning where you are riding on city streets and through non-scenic areas, which is fine, but the scenic, safe parts are more the last 3/4 of the trip. 3. I don't recommend the side quest to the medieval chuch unless medieval churches are your thing. The route for that part is on a busy two-lane road without a bike path. Just stick to the main tour. 4. You don't have a whole lot of beach time. We had time to eat lunch and briefly go to the beach. But that's OK--it's a rocky beach not great for swimming anyway. We did ride over to see the leaning tower and the Keith Haring mural too, but were a little pressed for time. Overall, I recommend this tour but only for people who are already pretty experienced on bikes. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone under 12 or who isn't already pretty fit and capable on a bike. I commute to work by bike every day and this tour was surprisingly challenging in a few spots, just in terms of road safety. But the fields of wildflowers and sunflowers really are pretty! Thanks for a great tour!
