• At 8:00 am, an English-speaking driver will be ready to greet you for a private tour, picking you up directly from beneath your cruise ship.
• The tour will proceed to Pisa, where there will be ample time to admire and photograph the famous Leaning Tower and other monuments in the square, including the Baptistery and the Cathedral. The Tower began to lean during its construction in the 12th century due to the soft ground that couldn’t support its weight. Stabilization efforts between 1993 and 2001 reduced the tilt to 3.97 degrees. Climbing to the top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa offers a unique experience and a stunning view of the city.
• Next, the tour will head to the Chianti wine region, passing through vineyards, olive groves, sunflower fields, and cypress rows, with stops for beautiful photo opportunities.
• Upon arrival at the farm, there will be a tour of the vineyards and a visit to the cellars.
• Following the tour, the highlight of the experience begins: a traditional three-course Tuscan lunch featuring homemade pasta, local cold cuts, pecorino cheese, and other authentic regional dishes. The meal is complemented by 5 wine tastings, 5 olive oil tastings, and 3 balsamic vinegar tastings, providing a full immersion into the flavors of Tuscany.
