• Peso Da Regua - Following the hike and an optional boat cruise, the return to Porto will include a drive from Pinhão to Régua (40 km) along the national 222, celebrated by numerous magazines as one of the most picturesque roads globally.

Embark on a delightful hike through the vineyards of the Douro Valley, leading to the charming village of Pinhão. This journey offers breathtaking views of the Douro Valley Vineyards, a wine region uniquely recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

During the hike, enjoy a picnic at a picturesque spot amidst the vines (please note, food is not included).

Following the picnic, continue the hike with stunning vistas of the Douro Valley vineyards until reaching the beautiful village of Pinhão. Here, the hike concludes, and there is an opportunity to visit the historic train station.

The hike spans 9 km and is rated as easy to medium for those accustomed to walking 10 km. It may be challenging for those not used to long distances.

From August to September, temperatures can reach up to 40ºC (115ºF), so ensure you are prepared for the heat.

After this wonderful day, enjoy a refreshing swim in the river before heading back to Porto.
