Nelson Mandela Capture Site - From Howick Falls, proceed to the Nelson Mandela Capture Site. Nelson Mandela was arrested on 5 August 1962 near Howick, KZN Natal, South Africa, and subsequently spent 27 years in prison. The Nelson Mandela Capture Site commemorates this historical moment with a museum and a world-renowned sculpture.
