Howick Falls - After exploring Tala Game Reserve, travel north, passing through Pietermaritzburg, before reaching Howick Falls. Spend about an hour enjoying the scenic beauty of Howick Falls.
Drakensberg Region - From Howick Falls, drive through the picturesque Midlands Meander area en route to the Drakensberg Mountains.
Begin day 2 with a visit to Giant’s Castle in the Drakensberg.

Day 3 kicks off with a tour of the Drakensberg Mountains after breakfast.
Drakensberg Mountains - After breakfast, continue exploring the Drakensberg, where breathtaking views of this majestic mountain range await. The Drakensberg Mountains average 2,900 meters in height, with some of the country’s tallest peaks reaching up to 3,482 meters above sea level. Among these peaks are plateaus, valleys, slopes, and stunning mountain passes, offering some of the best hiking, walking, and cycling experiences in South Africa.
Depart from the Drakensberg Mountains in the late afternoon to return to Durban for drop-offs at the port, airport, or hotels.
Nelson Mandela Capture Site - At midday, embark on a drive through the Midlands Meander towards the Nelson Mandela Capture Site. Upon arrival, tour the Museum and Monument. After visiting the Nelson Mandela Capture Site, drive back to Durban, with an expected arrival time of 6 pm, concluding the 3-day tour.
