Perfect way to understand pecorino in Pienza - We really enjoyed the drive out to the farm, the views on the way, then once there being shown how the farm and its animals are responsible for the amazing pecorino we enjoy! Our guide/owner gave excellent explanation!

Worthwhile, informative excursion - Small family owned business. Guided tour by family’s son who showed all the phases of cheese making, from milking to aging the cheese. We finished with tasting of 5 cheeses or different ages, family produced olive oil, yogurt made from their sheep milk (50% cow), and tested their soaps & scrubs. Family members were very hospitable, even picking figs for us from the trees. We were able to see the sheep after after locating them by their bells.

Great tour, very enjoyable tasting - A tour of a beautiful organic farm, with a knowledgeable guide Leanna. You learn about the cheese making process and the different types of pecorino cheese. The cheese tasting is very enjoyable, set outside with fellow guests, presented with bread, oils, and wine. Very interesting to hear how the family is keeping the farm as a traditional organic entity.

I will never get over the amazing views here… EVER! The cheese is wonderful too. - This was a last-minute decision, but it ended up being one of my favorite stops on our trip. The view here is absolutely unreal. We started with a tour of the cheese-making process, accompanied by some truly breathtaking views of the farm. Then we visited the animals—baby goats included!—and even got the chance to pet a few. Afterward, we sat at one of their outdoor tables overlooking the stunning Val d’Orcia and enjoyed a tasting of all the different cheeses made on-site, each thoughtfully paired with a local wine. Our guide was a knowledgeable and passionate sommelier, which made the experience even more special. My partner and I both even questioned getting a reservation for dinner and going back later that same day. You can stay here and camp for a few days on the property as well!

Wonderful experience.... - Wonderful experience. Located in a beautiful area. Fun for the whole family with animals to pet. The cheese and wine was delicious while enjoying an exquisite view. Our guide was friendly and answered all questions.

Beautiful farm but not so beautiful tour - This tour was OK. The cheese was eh - but the wine was delicious. Our tour guide was very quick and rushed thru the tour. The farm was beautiful.
