Best Day in Italy - A beautiful day in Tuscany and our favorite day of our Italian vacation . Fabrizio is an amazing tour guide and so knowledgeable and personable . If you are able to book a tour with Fabrizio you will have an amazing time and experience . We were given options for our day together before we arrived and we asked Fabrizio to plan a perfect day and he did . A beautiful winery tour and lunch in Montalcino . The wines olive oil and food were perfect and so relaxing . We loved all the scenery and beauty we saw throughout our afternoon . A stop in San Quiriocod’ Orci and Pienza. We wish we had 3 days with Fabrizio he is amazing at what he does and makes you feel like you are hanging out with a dear friend from the moment he greets you . We look forward to our next time visiting Italy and we would love to spend another day on a Ciao Fabrizio tour .

Our Southern Tuscany Italian Journey - My wife and I visited Italy in December of 2025. This was the highlight of our Italian journey! We spent two positively unforgettable days with Fabrizio in the towns of Montalcino, and Montepulciano...drinking Brunello and Nobile wines, enjoying espresso, touring the downtowns "as a local" and eating pastries. Fabrizio's knowledge of the areas, focused and casual demeanor coupled with his undeniable recognition as a true local made these two days one of a kind. Fabrizio is the real deal! - While planning our July 2025 trip to Italy, my wife and I were staying in Tuscany and knew we wanted to explore the region and experience local wineries—but without the stress of driving narrow, winding roads after wine tastings. After coming across a recommendation for Fabrizio on the Rick Steves forum, I checked out his website and reached out. From that moment on, everything was effortless. By the time we connected with Fabrizio, I had already done extensive planning for our trip (splitting time between Tuscany and Liguria, coordinating rental cars, trains, Airbnbs, and activities). The last thing I wanted to do was research wineries, coordinate tastings, and handle logistics. Fabrizio took care of absolutely everything—and then some. We stayed in Montepulciano, and Fabrizio met us right near our accommodation at 9:30am. From the moment we met him, it was clear we were going to get along great. He has such a warm, friendly, and genuine presence. We started the day with espresso, and he took time to explain Italian cultural norms around work, coffee, food, and life in small towns. He enthusiastically answered every question we had and showed real interest in getting to know us as well. Over the course of the day, we visited two wineries—one small and very local, the other much larger—each offering a completely different and memorable experience. Along the way, we stopped in Pienza for gelato, drove through the stunning Val d’Orcia, and visited the Roman baths in Bagni Vignoni. Every stop felt thoughtful, unrushed, and perfectly timed. As if that wasn’t enough, at the end of the day Fabrizio casually called a friend in Florence and secured us dinner reservations for later in our trip (we were staying there for two nights). That moment perfectly summed him up—connected, generous, and truly invested in giving us the best possible experience. Fabrizio was far more than a driver. He immersed us in the Tuscan experience we were craving, and it exceeded every expectation we had. I honestly don’t even remember what the day cost us—but I do know it was a bargain. This experience was priceless, and I would do it all over again without hesitation. Best Part of our Italian Adventure- Highly Recommend! - We had the best, most memorable day with Fabrizio! He instantly made us feel comfortable and welcomed in Montepulciano. Fabrizio was knowledgeable about the area, told us many interesting facts, and stopped to show us historic and cinematic landmarks. Throughout the day, we toured two local, family-run wineries. At Poggio Grande, we had the opportunity to meet the owners of the winery, who were fantastic. We learned so much about their specific wine-making process, their land, and were able to ask many questions/had a great conversation. We enjoyed some of the best wine and olive oil, all while overlooking breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside! At the next winery, Innocenti, we ate lunch and had the best homemade lasagna we had ever tasted (accompanied by some delicious Brunello)! The views at this winery were stunning, nestled up on the hillside, overlooking the rolling hills. Throughout the day we stopped at local cafes in Pienza and Siena, and enjoyed espresso and Tuscan cannolis/treats. Fabrizio was such a great guide; he was personable and kept us laughing! This day was the highlight of our trip to Italy, we would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an authentic tour!

He’s incredibly knowledgeable and knows the area inside and out. We visited two Brunello wineries, both small, family-run estates that have been making wine for generations. These weren’t the usual tourist spots — just authentic, welcoming places with outstanding wines. We also stopped at a local sheep farm where they make their own pecorino cheese and enjoyed a fantastic, rustic lunch in the farmhouse. It was such a genuine, off-the-beaten-path experience. I can’t recommend Fabrizio enough. If you’re lucky enough to book him, you’re in for an unforgettable day!

Fabrizio is THE best ! - AMAZING DAY WITH FABRIZIO ! I don't even know where to start. I contacted Fabrizio via email and just from that correspondence I could tell he was a gem. Meeting him in person even exceeded my expectations ! He took my husband out for a magical day in beautiful Tuscany. This is where his home is and more importantly , his heart. He is known and loved by all the locals. Our experience walking the streets of montelpulciano and Pienza with him will never be forgotten. We felt like a local , like him. Book this!!! Other wine tours pale by comparison. - Fabrizio was the most caring and detail oriented guide that I/we have ever had. He truly customized the tour for us. We were able to take longer in areas that we wanted to. He just wanted us to make the most out of our day. Brunello wine tour was the best of all after taking all into consideration!
