• Motuara Island - Welcome to Motuara Island
  Motuara Island is completely predator-free and hosts rare species such as the yellow-crowned Parakeet and Saddleback. Explore the island independently or with our knowledgeable guide, who will highlight and describe the resident blue penguins, rare saddleback, melodic bellbirds, cheeky robins, native pigeons, and yellow-crowned parakeets (kakariki). On a clear day, you can also spot the North Island in the distance. The view from the Cook Strait lookout is truly breathtaking!

  The birds on this predator-free island are fearless, abundant, and very vocal. It’s common to get very close to these incredible creatures, offering plenty of photo opportunities. • Queen Charlotte Track - Discover the stunning Marlborough Sounds by walking or biking the Queen Charlotte Track. The track extends 73.5 km from the historic Meretoto/Ship Cove to Anakiwa in Queen Charlotte Sound.
• Ship Cove - Meretoto/Ship Cove was James Cook’s preferred New Zealand base during his three exploration voyages. It is also integral to the rich history of Polynesian navigation and holds great significance for local Māori.
  Meretoto/Ship Cove holds historical importance for early inhabitants Ngāti Apa, Ngāti Kuia, and Rangitāne, the later Ngāti Toa, and the current guardians Te Ātiawa.
