In this unique excursion you will learn about the old traditional Italian ways of preparing local dishes that have been passed down through the generations. You will sample the organic foods prepared without preservatives and the flavors of the region. Taste salamis, prosciutto, cheeses, olives, breads, tomatoes and homemade wine! Vegetarians will enjoy too! Be prepared to see the most beautiful mountains and blue waters as you look from the tops of the mountains down to the sea! Hikes can be customized to fit your level of experience. If you have a special occasion we can provide a picnic with Prosecco and even a gorgeous sunset! This excursion will leave you with lifetime memories and you will want to return again and again!!!

What an Amazing experience with Franco!! - Franco was such an amazing guide ! He was so friendly and inviting from the moment we met him. He offered to pick us up from the hotel since we didn’t have a car. Not only was the hike absolutely stunning with 360 views of amalfi coast at the highest points (you literally get above the clouds)… but During the hike, Franco taught us so much about the traditional Italian culture and his village. He brought us amazing local pastries, wine, and cheeses and we got to eat on a little picnic bench during our first break of the hike. He also took us to meet locals on the hike who gave us frozen lemonade and he even brought us to the villages shepherds house, where they sang local songs and even gave us pasta and homemade wine! This tour was truly worth the money. We felt like we made a friend in Franco! He was truly amazing and I highly recommend doing this hike with him. Don’t try to do this hike on your own. It would be difficult to know where to go and you will miss out on all the rich culture and stories that Franco provided.

Honeymoon Hike of the Gods - We booked this on our honeymoon as we wanted to hike the path of the gods but not without a tour guide and the gastronomic part we viewed as a big plus. Franco was an amazing tour guide and helped make our day special. He was able to talk you through all of the wild herbs, fruits, and nuts along the way. His picnic at the end with home made salami, wine, and cheese from the maker was spectacular! Boone with Franco if you want an authentic tour with some food along the way.

Wonderful hike and picnic with family - We hiked with Franco and Angela and they were the most wonderful, warm, kind hiking guides. We changed the start time of our hike 2 times and they were so accommodating. We couldn’t find parking initially and they got in the car and drove around with us to help us find some. Franco is so knowledgeable about the area and the hike. Angela brought us homemade ravioli, gnocchi, goat cheese, wine, tomatoes and basil, olive oil. She carried the lunch with her the whole way so we could enjoy it on the trail. These are the most wonderful people, they put so much effort into this hike and trip for us. When we left we felt like family. Had many great conversations. You MUST book this hike with them.

Franco and Angela were... - Franco and Angela were exceptional guides. Their knowledge of the area as well as botany was astounding. Both were really accommodating and so friendly. The produce for lunch from Franco's farm was sublime. Highly recommend this for anyone.

Franco was an amazing... - Franco was an amazing guide and we had an absolutely wonderful experience! He was so knowledgeable, kept us safe, and he and Angela prepared us so much amazing food from their farm! I’ll remember this experience for many years to come. I was on the fence about even hiring a guide initially, thinking we could manage on our own, but I’m so glad we had Franco there, as I’m not sure we would have been able to do it on our own. I can’t say enough good things about this experience - definitely a highlight of the trip and I’ll be thinking of the meal we had for a long time. Next time I’m here, I would do it again!

The best excursion of our week! - Wow! So much to say. Franco & Angela were genuine and generous in spirit, warm, knowledgeable & incredibly hospitable. The hike was absolutely beautiful with continuous views along the way. Franco shared much about the region, history, native foliage and took great care of us along the way. It is 100% worth having a guide to narrate your hike. You are missing out if you just do this on your own. We enjoyed a meal at a generational shepherds home with great food and wine mid-way. Towards the end of our tour we had a picnic with farm fresh food from Franco’s farm. It was amazing!! Let me tell you- come hungry because they feed you well with multiple courses of food. Everything was delicious & authentic and organic. The wine was the best I had all week. He even helped us get back to where we were staying. This experience is worth every penny and more. Thanks, again!

Magical Day of Food and Hiking! - Franco and Angela gave us the most marvelous experience hiking the path of the gods with multiple scenic and an amazing gastronomical experience along the way. They were both so kind, thoughtful and helped make the hike extremely relaxing so that we could enjoy the full breadth of the amalfi coast while learning about the significant history through the lens of their local experience. Angela made the most fantastic Easter ricotta cake dessert and Franco had amazing porchetta, sausage, cheese, olive oil, frittata, bread, seasoning, and cherry tomatoes all fresh from his farm. We could not have asked for a better experience during what was one of the most memorable days of our life and one of the many highlights of our southern Italy trip. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in hiking, amazing food, with two of the most thoughtful hosts! Angela also drove us after to a drop off point which we very much appreciated!

Incredible tour - highlight of our trip to Italy - This tour was incredible. Franco was an absolutely wonderful guide: friendly, knowledgeable, kind, fun, funny. He is a true local and knows everything about the area. The views are out of this world spectacular. Pleasant weather in March and no crowds. And the food!! All of it homemade by Franco and his colleague Angela (the most delicious tiramisu we've ever had). We were three adults and three teens. it was the highlight of our trip to Italy. We will recommend to all.

Amazing hike and gastro experience! - This hike and gastronomy experience was the highlight of our trip to Amalfi coast. Franco was an excellent guide. His knowledge and experience came through every step we took. Franco and Angela made an amazing meal. It felt like we were family. Thank you again!
