From the Plateau of Papafragas, visitors can admire the western fortification wall, while the local guide shares the captivating and intriguing history of Phylakopi. The landscape is truly remarkable. The tour also includes a visit to the bay of Sarakiniko, where the initial impression is akin to “landing on the moon.” This dramatic, lunar-like landscape is formed by pumice stone or compacted volcanic ash. Participants will have the chance to explore and photograph the fascinating scenery at Sarakiniko, creating lasting memories. The tour concludes with a visit to the Mining Museum of Milos, located near Adamas, where the island’s landscape history is beautifully encapsulated.
